PuZZyNegro:I am not forcing anybody to do that, just giving a regiment for 50k earnings. If it's 30k that u can do consistently, focus on it and keep at it. If u work paid employment when do u leave ur house and when do u come back home? People just want to go out for few hours and come back with thousands. Not that there aren't surge jobs/hussles but ehailing isn't one of such. From time immemorial, u have to put in hours to make big money. I am not to tell u how much to make or how many hours to work, do what works for u but My point has always been that when someone says he makes xyz, rather than say he is lying, u should ask how he is doing it. |

Nelochukwu:No worry yourself brother... People wey still dey chop their mama soup will not understand. When bills start slapping a man, nobe person go tell am to either work or go home. Even the overseas we are hustling to go to, they think they will just be walking around and be picking money on d streets. |

Pearl1910:Is it advisable to convert to CNG? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 10:55am On Sep 01, 2025 |
Nelochukwu:Read up my comment again, I never said it's impossible, I said it will be difficult to wake up 7am and set out the next day, I understand some people are naturally healthy and strong but for me, I no fit. 100k is something that can be done in less than 10hours if you pick good trips to good areas, so, 100k is very much feasible. I particularly, I have threshold, 8hours a day and 30k daily savings.... |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 10:57am On Sep 01, 2025 |
Jamie90:It depends on your vehicle and condition of the engine. If the engine is not sharp, be ready to change it before u will enjoy d CNG. If the engine is not big, u will not enjoy driving the car at all especially with AC on. So if ur car is a 2.4litre engine and above, then u are a perfect candidate for CNG. Anything less, ur engine must be chacha for u to enjoy the CNG. |

So guys this was my first ever dashboard. I don't know why it is saying July instead of August sha but yes I started last month as an occasional driver. I am currently not working my job till October so I decided to use my other vehicle which i nearly sold or gave out for hire purchase. This job is not an easy one but there's money in it, it all boils down to personal discipline when the income comes, your knowledge of the road, ability to converse, a little bit of patience and positioning. My takes: -Get your documents intact so at the sight of officials you don't get apprehensive -Avoid working at nights at places not familiar with( I did a couple of night work but mostly on the island as i know it like the back of my palm) night work last week Thursday was so sweet for me as i made 100k plus gross with a 25k fuel on a 2.4l engine. It was based on the quality of orders tho. -Work smart; I don't like any of the app specially but I work with strictly Indrive due to the freedom to choose where you prefer to go unlike Bolt that wants to force you to go just anywhere. Work smart in this regard, you can use both app simultaneously to get best results. I had an order from Indrive to deliver an office chair to Shomolu then a request came in from Bolt of a lady going to Fola Agoro, then i did both orders simultaneously and both places was just about 7mins apart -Be security conscious especially at nights; don't ever let a rider tell you to follow a pathway that avoids police, why are they running? If you do so, they might get to harm you - Save, i started doing a 20k daily savings just in case of any emergency - Don't try to be clever by half with your vehicle, maintain it well and don't fly potholes anyhow, avoid Ikotun/Jakande Gate axis, such terrible places or pass Canoe if you want to. - Get started, don't wait until the perfect time, work with what you have. I use a 2.4l but I try my best to maximize profits by not overspeeding, no heavy breaking. And then again, my AC parked up before i started the hustle but then i start working from 6am when weather is cool and stop by 11am and commence by 6pm again to stop by 10pm. If I had to wait for my AC to be done, probably won't have started. Happy new month guys

Jamie90:they have increased the price of CNG too oo so if you are considering think very well though not as expensive as petrol it 380 now from 230 |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Biodun1929(m): 12:14pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
tobby98:Impressive. I also like InDrive because I can choose where I want to go. Uber takes me to Jakande and Isheri Osun ...omo, after changing hub and ball joint multiple times, I had to take a break on Uber for a while. With InDrive, I usually go to surulere, Ikeja, Magodo...I know these places very well, and they don't have bad roads. By the way, don't your passengers complain that your car doesn't have AC? |

Kaymaxi2222:How many percent is likely saved if CNG is preferred to fuel? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Kaymaxi2222(m): 12:16pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Jamie90:now it just 50percent |

tobby98:By the way, do you keep record of the fuel you buy in your car? Do you know how much fuel you bought for the month that earned you this 760k? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 12:28pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Kaymaxi2222:Gobey, no worries, e go soon dey compete price with fuel ![]() |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 12:33pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Biodun1929:🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ How do you want someone to keep records of fuel he buys for a whole month. You want him to write it down somewhere every time he buys fuel? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by tobby98: 12:40pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Biodun1929:Well i would start that this month to get a better idea of what I net after expenses like fuel and servicing. But i know if I buy a fuel of 25k, I gross between 75k to 90k( I have done the experiments couple of times. Mind you i drive a 2.4l engine. If i drive Corolla or Civic, I would probably average more. Another thing I figured especially on Indrive, most clientele or riders as you call it pay me more than what is on the app( most times I didn't have to ask but i also jokingly ask for them to bless my weekend. 7 out of 10( coz of my neat car, my good music, i dress and smell nice too and possibly my sense of humor despite no AC o, but I am fixing the AC this week. So the prospects gets higher once my AC is up and running. But yeah I hope to update later this month with a proper record keeping. Cheers |

Pearl1910:Exactly people have paid employment from 8am till 4pm. Let's not forget hours to commute to and fro. Work. Ehailing should be treated as a full job where U MUST PUT IN WORK. y should it be strange to drive everyday for 10hrs when u work for d same amount of hours in a day. Like said earlier every one knows wetin dey chase am. Iz not everyone that came to market to purchase the same thing or for the same reasons. Whatever works for everyone. Let's all be profitable Iz all day matters |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by tobby98: 12:42pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Omoapena:I can actually, it makes sense to do so. Receive receipts or just take notes in your phone. The only thing is that this is not my personal job, I do my personal runs on sites too, so how do we really ascertain? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 12:52pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Nelochukwu:Why are you comparing office working hour to driving hour, do both require same energy? |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 1:05pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Omoapena:Dey don't but for a man like me dey do. Cause both will pay ur bills. Our fathers used to farm and hunt to "pay bills" driving requires less stress than farming. Infact do you know a lot of jobs tho don't require that physical energy as driving but psychological and emotion energy are required that even those who do such jobs would do anything to exit such tortures. One man's meat is another's poison. Ehailing is a gold mine to alot of folks who has properly harnessed it's benefits while adapting to its disadvantages |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 1:12pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Nelochukwu:These man, can you farm for 10hours non stop?, stop comparing all this thing, driving every mins and hours straight up can't be compared, yes, there's money in transportation but the energy put into it isn't comparable, the fatigue and body pain alone can make you want to sleep for a full day to regain your strength back... While we are pushing many hours to make the money, we should also give the body adequate rest, if not, na person wey no know how you take make the money go later spend am o. Pls, anyone knows a very good life insurance policy here, I'm looking forward to opening one... |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Biodun1929(m): 1:12pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Omoapena:So how do you keep track of how much you actually.made after removing fuel money? That's the main reason I asked that question. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nobody: 1:18pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
Biodun1929:Well, personally, when I buy 20k fuel. I gross between 70k to 85k depending on trips and surge. And sometimes, it can be on bolt and indrive together so commission isn't always accurate. But when I make the 70k to 85k, after commission and my fuel, I will have 30k+ to cover for my savings and daily feeding. What's important is, have a daily contribution you engage into, you can't always keep tab on your net, but you can keep tab on what you save daily. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Biodun1929(m): 1:21pm On Sep 01, 2025 |
tobby98:Interesting. I also use a 2.4 litre engine, but if I buy 25k fuel, I gross 50k...you grossing 75k is really.impressive. I guess my car chops fuel. Omo, you guys grossing 3 times your fuel money are really enjoying o. Chai! Also, i hardly get tips...maybe once in a while, these runs girls will put 5H or 1k on the money, but that rarely happens. I guess cos I dont ask or even joke with riders. I'm a quiet person. By the way, what car do you drive? |
