Most European clubs have stretched their budget this window and can only get a player on loan with an obligation to buy so as not to violate UEFA's FFP rules. Atalanta don't want that option for Lookman, they want an outright buy but we can't afford to do that. Bayern is also interested but Atalanta is not budging. Only Saudi clubs will buy Martinelli for 60m. If only we had sold him when Bayern Munich came to bid for him in the beginning of the window. He would have been our record sale by now

Talking about doing bad deals for someone with only a year left on his contract but I can't confirm whether it's a loan yet, Ornstein hasn't confirmed the move status

I will be sad if it is a loan....This (bad businesses) is not sustainable in the long run that's how Everton, Valencia, Barca started theirs ....

Loans are the safer option when clubs have spent heavily during the window so as not to beech FFP rules. It annoys me that we could have had sold Nelli for €60m.when Bayern came knocking. That would broke the Clichy record sale.

The guy stayed in the 50-55 zone, making many sit on the fence on how useful or useless he is to us right now 😫😂😂😂

It's annoying now that in midfield, Merino is our slowest midfielder. Guendozi was faster in decision making. Guy will look and give a forward pass into the box, air or ground. Be like e don enter Kai Kategory. Never useful in midfield but upfront. Lol.
