How can Bayelsa be like Dubai when they refuse to allow Bayelsa use their resources like Dubai?
Bayelsa State Government take developments to all the 909 different Communities despite little political offices of just 8 LGAs when Bayelsa is two times bigger than Akwa-Ibom State in area but Akwa-Ibom have 31 LGAs.


If Bayelsa leaders are so bad would Goodluck Jonathan not show it as President?
Is he not former Bayelsa State Governor?
It is Federal government that is oppressing Ijaws.


If Federal Government is not using Bayelsa money to pay una politicians and take care of una States would Bayelsa not develop more than that?
34 different Communities sharing one Ward in Southern Ijaw LGA of which Southern Ijaw LGA is the size of Lagos State out of the 17 Wards in the LGA so how development want carry go round easily na?

Bayelsa is the size of 3 Igbo States put together.

That's not the point here. I was once in Akenfa 3 for a while and understood the state and why the state governors don't seem to do anything with their allocations.

I think Senator Seriake Dickson was the most reasonable governor the state has produced since 1999. In short, he didn't give a damn whenever he wanted to attack his people. He would go on Radio Bayelsa to complain about how Bayelsa people were extremely lazy and that the Deltans, Yorubas and Igbos were involved in all the hustle in the state while Bayelsans just felt entitled and wanted government allocations shared the moment it dropped.

Senator Seriake refused to share like his predecessors and they kept threatening to kick him out, but dude was firm like the Rock of Gibraltar. Now, it appears his successor has fallen into the machinations of the boys (mostly ex-militants and political jobbers) that enjoy seeing their governor share state revenue while they sing his praises and assure him that his second tenure is guaranteed. This is the reason the only news that comes from Bayelsa on Nairaland is their huge federal allocation, but it's unfortunate their governors aren't showing working.

Douye Diri is a working Governor reason he got second tenure if not he would have lost like he did during David Lyon time.

The place looks transformed like Dubai marina. Imagine after delivering this type of projects in pdp with 99.99 % chances of getting ready elected and you decide to join APC. Join apc for what exactly? I still pray Bayelsa, Enugu, Abia and other PDP states governors don't become like the people who left the coverted positions for crumbs. Is it not this Bayelsa(10,770sq.km) that's 50% water and 50% land? The only place with solid land is around this same Yenagoa that your governors have failed to develop despite the huge allocation they receive.
Bayelsa is just like Mauritania big with a wasted space in this case waterlogged lands unlike Mauritania that has vast desert. Your 8 LGAs possess the smallest population because humans need to survive and live on arable land. About 75% of the food consumed by the tiny population in Bayelsa is still imported from outside it and is mostly from those Igbo states you love to attack.
