I think it was already confirmed, because when I clicked the link again a few weeks ago, it showed “• Your appointment has already been confirmed”.

Ich möchte ein Visum beantragen für::Bachelor Students
Beginn des studentischen
Aufenthaltes: 01.10.2024
Then my fill name, passport number and DOB.
Then you would have gotten a date since February. Perhaps you missed it, it was the 3rd email they sent.

You can't say all and often in the same sentence, the usage is contradictory to your statement. Therefore your information is wrong.

That said, stop spreading false information. Only a handful of visas specify these info. Of course if you're going for a PhD, you're tied to that school and that program, if you're on a scholarship, you're tied to that school and the program. Some study visas mention just the program and degree type only, while MAJORITY of students visa issued at the Embassy in Lagos says nothing about your program or school. It just states it's a valid study visa which allows employment according to 16(b).

Maybe yours did depending on your visa application category but kindly confirm the information you disseminate before it becomes deliberate misinformation.
Thank you so much, cause i was so confused with the way he responded I know someone that nothing was stated but the employment stuff written in the corner of his visa and that's all.

Excuse me, I just realized I mixed up the details earlier. My apologies .

I actually applied in April 2024, not 2023. Since then, i have received two emails, the first with my reference number and the second with a confirmation link for the appointment.

A few weeks ago, I got a third email asking me to re-confirm my email, but this was when I tried reapplying cos I didn’t know abt the first one , and that’s when I realized I had already applied earlier in 2024.

So , so far, I have ONLY received 2 emails from them regarding my application in 2024. I guess that was why when I tried clicking the link lately, it took me to a page showing me that “ Your appointment has already been confirmed”.

Hope you understand. Na me make mistake with the info earlier on.

Oh okay.
Did you confirm your date a again in the email they sent a few weeks ago? Hope you didn't register again?
If you did confirm, you're on the waiting list.

Yes, I did. That’s how I found out I had already registered with the same email, because it redirected me to a page saying “Your appointment has already been confirmed.” I was about to register again when I realized this.

Please, do you have an idea of when it might likely get to my turn for an appointment? I’m only asking because this is why I haven’t been following up, I keep missing out on admissions, and I was also out of the country for quite some time.

They're currently at November 2023.
They've been moving quite slowly since March. But now that the summer break is over and there are less reschedules, i think they might speed up.
I cant give you a certain estimate, perhaps end of this year to early next year.

After the Admission 🎫 rejection did you find out what you were doing wrong to get such rejections?

Also do well to check Admission requirements and be sure to meet at least 70% of the requirements before putting in your applications.

Also make sure you tailor your SOP to the program objectives and it's not a one size fits all kind of thing. You have to put in the work.

When in doubt you can always reach out to the program coordinator for clarification.

Need someone to review your SOP you can reach out to me.

I have been trying to get admission,, I have gotten 5 rejections so far ,, I really need help on that even if it's private school that pays around 5k€,,I applied for my visa around February 2024,,

1. Well, you can use all and often at the same time in same sentence.
2. You have made an exception for PhDs and scholarships.
3. The majority you said were ONLY from Lagos, I'm not sure if you have seen majority of issued study visas. Meanwhile, while majority here are applying from Nigeria, a couple of others aren't.
4. I did not apply from Nigeria, my visa stated the school and programme. Ray applied from Lagos, his visa included similar information, school name, programme and location; same with his 2018/19 cohort. Jay & Fry applied from Poland and UAE, school names and information were included.

This is not a case of deliberate misinformation, rather from correct information close to me.

Would have been better if you addressed the query that necessitated my comment; whether s/he should arrive at the closest airport to the planned destination to avoid border control questioning.

It is better to apply now. You can shift your appointment if you are not ready when they contact you.

Hello everyone,

I am trying to do my affidavit of age declaration on Lagos Comis, the online platform by the government. But, I am experiencing a challenge.

My deponent lives in Ogun state, I am trying to type his address on the portal, I am not seeing other state options to
choose from, it is only Lagos and when I type the complete address and preview it, I will see the options as "choose'' "choose". It is as fit deponent must always live in Lagos.

Please, I need help on how to resolve this. I do not have much time. My date is September 23rd. I need this affidavit for me to get my attestation letter NPC.

All study visas often clearly state the name of the school. It is read as "this visa is valid for study at the XYZ University, München".

Let's stop this hypothetical questions, and do the right thing. You can do whatever you want later if needed. Keep a straightforward application and arrival.
I think this has changed recently.
My friend got his last week (Type D) but the name of the school is not on it.

Hello Fam,

I applied for visa appointment November 2024, way before I secured an admission in April 2025.

My school starts on the 1st of October, 2025. I'm yet to receive an appointment date from the embassy. I'm so frustrated and anxious.

Can anyone help me if there are available options on how I can navigate this.

Help me please!!!🙏🙏🙏😫😭😭😭

Embassy is still in November 2023. As it stands, you'll have to keep deferring till like 2027 summer, except the Embassy changes their modus operandi to hasten things up which is our prayer. Just be patient,we all are waiting too.
