The easiest way for Peter Obi to lose Northern Christian votes is to be seen with frolicking with Elrufai. It can easily be used against him. Elrufai was nasty to the Christians in his state when he was governor. He didn't do enough to curb the murderous herdsmen. His son justified their activites in Southern Kaduna.

I initially even thought Elrufai was a saint and was just being misread until the state governor accused him of excesssively borrowing during his time in office. It was worsened by reports of his ironfist rule in the state where he toilerated zero opposition and there were cases of missing persons.

Peter Obi desperately wants power. He better distance himself from Elrufai.

He's a very intelligent chap, but now a political liability to the ruling party. He's better off as an attack dog for the ADC. 2027 will be very interesting if the citizens votes will count.

I became a fan of El rufai because of the hates from Southern Kaduna Christians.

Southern Kaduna Christians are in dilemma without any political acumen.

They voted Obi because of religion.
Over their dead body for a muslim-muslim presidency or governor.

Muslim-muslim made one of them CDS, gave them Federal institutions, fixing their roads and other infrastructure.

Today, they are singing " all our votes are for muslim-muslim both at state and national levels".

There is this problem with northerners and Muslims. They will claim they are more populated than everybody, yet when census period comes, they will threaten boycott if religion and ethnicity are included in the questionnaire. They never want the true numbers of our religious people and how big each tribe is to be known. What truth are they afraid of?

It has been proven time and time again. Southern Kaduna voted overwhelmingly for Peter Obi in 2027 while the Muslims splitted their votes between Tinubu and Atiku. Obi came a distant third behind Tinubu and Atiku. Go look at the numbers. Elrufai also ran a muslim-muslim ticket to test this theory and he won with over a million votes. He even did it twice because Uba Sani also ran on muslim-muslim ticket. Why is there no outcry in Plateau state where the governor ran on a Christian-Christian ticket despite the significant Muslim population and history of religious conflict in the state? At the end of the day, it's more about politics than it is about religion. CAN has always been politicised right from the time of Oritsejafor.
