The Russia-Ukraine war no doubt has triggered a new phase in international relations that's only going to get bigger in influence. I'm not implying that the West has been defeated, but things in international politics has taken a dramatic detour since the Kremlin marched into Ukraine. The global South suspects hypocrisy and highhandedness in the manner which Russia and Israel has been treated differently and have come to realise that a similar unjust balance awaits anyone who doesn't fit into the dictates of the West. The UNGA last year was replete with angst expressed in speech after speech by many heads of state. The global South is now making alignments to upset what has been the norm since 1945. Pro-Western pundits always point out the totalitarian backing behind Russia and China, but they forget that in trade and commerce, people only ask "how much", and couldn't care less about "who governs your country". Combined, Russia-India-China has the financial and technological resources to match the West, the only trivial challenges being just time and strategic planning. 22 Likes 1 Share |

wentroublecomes:With China on his side, Putin has no worry. China’s production of arms is fast and cost saving, the west cannot keep up with the pace and cost and why Liyin will always have an edge. The cheap Iranian Kamikaze tech already in Russia and they also now producing at a fast rate so Putin got all he needs and what it takes.
