How una dey my people? .... So I stumbled on this tweet and I feel like to share it to the house for mutual opinion.

Which of the below fit make all things boring to you:

-Data don finish
- Transformer don blow
- Gas don finish
-Bank app no dey open

As for me, others still get alternatives but if transformer blow for this our beloved country, na season film o.

Bank app no dey open - when this happens it just renders you totally useless

You don eat for buka finished Time to make payment and Bank app no dey open ? Na that time you go realized say even your phone no dey useful when data no dey.

For me, it has to be the transformer one... It's like the transformer from our section back home is attracted to lightnings, almost every year it gets struck by lightning during heavy rainfalls and we'd have to go for a day or at least two days without electricity.

The most painful part of it all is seeing other sections with electricity having their lights on during the night while you're in darkness... Few years back, the whole section suffered a power surge due to a lightning strike and many household electric appliances in our area got damaged... People's phones, laptops, desktops, and TVs, including our family TV and etc got damaged.

But we kept consoling each other by reminding ourselves how we suffered the same loss...

@ Samantha125, only 2 days of power outage and you're complaining. Where I live at the moment, the last time we had power supply (which was low current) was in February 2024. It's solar energy my family rely on right now.
To the question, my fear is bank app issue. Like some said, what if you are about to make payments at a restaurant or at worse a bukka and your app refuses to work? That's a serious problem oooo

USSD issue was in Front Page a few days ago. Most bank's USSD code can't transact successfully anymore and the worst is that you might be debited.

12 hours light in a day is not enjoy.....

Here in Mushin Lagos , they've not taken the light since June... I can't remember a time when there's no light. For what 🤷...

I will not doubt it if you claim ur electricity is stable at Mushin. But don't forget Mushin is not like every other places.

My painful part is the last number which says that Nigeria is on life support!

Bankapp that think can frustrate the hell out of you especially during emergency....followed by transformer blow and u decide to use gen ...the kind of money it will cost u ,will make u think someone is stealing from u and right now am experiencing th no 2, the rest is not too stressful if u get money for bank to buy gas and data is sure or u borrow data to pay later or go collect gas for credit ,u no go chop

I always make sure I pay before doing all those things cos I hate embarrassment gan.

Once the goods can't b returned I pay first

One of my sturborn friend nearly put me for gbege, I told him that we should carry cash when we wan go eat he say no say opay dey work well n funny enough we no carry phone.


We chop finish na so moniepoint terminal no see opay, I search my pocket na 1200 dey dere n na 4500 food we chop.

I had to tell my friend to wait, I find bike man wey know our location I tell am make he give me 4k na so we take comot go house ooo n we go pay bike man

None dey pain these days sef. If transformer blow, you go on gen. If you get solar, that one no even concern u. If Gas finish, you fit use kerosene stove or electric cooker. If bank app no open, you fit use USSD do transfer. If data finish, you fit use USSD buy data or borrow data from MTN.

The issue that will have the largest inconvenience and financial implication is transformer fault.

That can take anything from three weeks to a year. During which time your energy costs will go up

Data finish, simply reload
Bank app not working, use another app or wait it out
Gas finsih bring your spare cylinder or wait till next morning
