RESIGNATION FROM MEMBERSHIP OF THE LABOUR PARTY
I write to formally tender my resignation from the Labour Party, effective today the 16th July, 2025. This decision comes after extensive consultations with my immediate family, political associates, and well-wishers who have supported my journey thus far.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the Labour Party for the platform given to me to contest and win the last general election as the House of Representatives member under its banner. The trust and support of the party leadership and members have been instrumental in our journey so far, and I will forever cherish these relationships.

I am proud of and I thank you all for the progress we've made together in advancing the welfare of our people and promoting democratic ideals in our constituency in particular and state at large. However, after careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that this step is necessary for the greater good of our people. My commitment to service, development, and the upliftment of our constituency remains unwavering, and I believe this decision aligns with the best interests of those we serve.

I sincerely appreciate the support, camaraderie, and shared vision that defined mytime in the Labour Party and I hope that we will continue to work as patriots in thepursuit of a better society.

Thank you once again for the opportunity to serve ánder the party's banner. I wish theLabour Party continued success in its endeavours.
