FG DECLARES FRIDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR EID-UL-MAWLID

The Federal Government has declared Friday, September 5, 2025, a public holiday to mark Eid-ul-Mawlid - the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

A statement by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Dr Magdalene Ajani on behalf of the Minister, congratulates Muslims in Nigeria and beyond, urging reflection on the Prophet’s virtues of peace, love, humility, tolerance, and compassion.

The statement also calls on Nigerians of all faiths to use the occasion to pray for peace, security, and stability in the country, while supporting government’s drive for unity and development.

The Minister of Interior wishes Muslims a joyous and peaceful Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration.

I work remotely on Thursdays and Mondays....Technically I have about 5 days break.

That is for those people federal govt, state govt or local govt feed not for us hustling on our own to feed ourselves.

The pain is that the people (Both civil and public servants)that enjoy this government most are the ones talking bullshit about the government....they are the one receiving salaries, allowances, quick access to loan, and other benefits from the government.

Do you know the funny aspect of it;

They are like %10-12 of our population,
They have INEC card but don't vote,
They criticises any government of the day,
They think they are the first citizens of Nigeria,
They are corrupt even more than the government itself,
They contribute little or no in some cases to government development except few agencies,

I do have arguments with them whenever I met them in a paper-stand at Mararaba junction of Karu local government.
They don't go to work but collecting salaries,
They complain about govt everyday.

I don't fancy them at all.

Weather you declare it or not we will declare it for ourselves
