If this 5% taxation on fuel even after removing subsidy on it is for funding NELFUND I will support it in a way. #799 billion every year for pursuing cleaner energy is a scam. How did we arrive at this? Buhari has the people at heart at least, but this Tinibu only thinks about the political class.
Tinibu removed subsidy from fuel and electricity and at the same time devalue the currency only for him to increase and multiply taxes. He is stealing from the poor and giving them to the rich(political class). Soon he will increase the salaries of politicians. In this country if a legislature mentions his monthly payment he will be suspended. How are we sure that they pay tax? They will receive allow for this 5% tax on fuel, just as they did when subsidy was removed.

Nigerians need to learn that we need to meet our revenue target next year before June

All these and many more to come are ways to meet up the target

Price of fuel about to jump above 900 naira.

If petrol went from N197 to as high as N865 and we didnt die, adding N43 to make it N908 will not kill anybody. At a point, we already bought above N900.

We keep pushing and being creative. Thats why cars on the roads are less. People operate from home and online these days. Stay in your house and save money. At least electricity is better. Instead of profitless going up and down to party where the cost of transporting yourself there is more than the value of the rice you will eat.
