Contractors under the Indigenous Contractors Association of Nigeria blocked the entrance of the Ministry of Finance in Abuja, protesting the non-payment of contracts executed since 2024.

The protesters prevented staff and even the minister’s convoy from entering through the main gate, demanding that the minister address them directly.

The refusal to pay contractors money owed them that's running into hundreds of billions is act of sheer wickedness, this alone has made Abuja economic activities at an all time low, and Nigeria at large.

It's easy to lie but lies have no backing

Tilumbu where is the money

The farmer that planted 80 yams but lied that he planted 200, would reap 80 yams and 120 lies

Tilumbu claimed we met the revenue target for 2025, yet embassies are owned, contractors are being owed despite lies that they have paid them all

Many of these contractors took loans to execute contract after almost a year, nothing has been paid....interest accrued would have wiped all the profits

So what has eb1lokan and Oshiomhole’s Association of Past Criminals, APC done with their revenue target met in August and the $84 billion subsidy savings that has made petrol and everything else expensive? Should we add the extra loans he has taken more than previous presidents?

Is he just stealing money to bribe politicians who will mobilise votes to reelect him? Or what else is happening to the money?

If Tinubu do not remove this Edun, he can not make progress, his efforts will not be visible no matter how hard he tries, the man is utterly clueless, incompetent and lazy
This minister is so incompetent that he doesn't know that you need money to circulate to oil the wheels of economic progress, he is there hoarding money ,to do what exactly, when they claim they've generated huge revenue, pensioners are owed staggering areas,Corp members too are not left out, civil servants minimum wage areas are in several months ,palliatives money is hanging, even contractors, so how will the economy not shrink when the source of money to oil the economy so it can expand is been blocked by a minister who doesn't know his job
If any of Tinubu supporters comes across this post ,try and get it to him ,that he needs to replace wale edun ASAP otherwise he risk losing his own seat, because of the damage this guy will cause

Everything in this country now more than ever looks like a scam, sadly these contractors might never get their money.
