Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the House of Representatives representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency in Kano State, has declared that the North held power for 39 and a half years, while the South had it for 28 years.

Jibrin further said it is an insult to former northern heads of state and presidents to claim that Nigeria started from 1999.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, Jibrin insisted that Nigeria began in 1960, and that any reckoning should start from that point.

You are just trying to console yourself. 50% of the out of school children in the SW are from other regions with majority of them from the SE .

If you compare the population of the north with the population of the SE and other regions, you will understand why they have more out of school children than other regions.

The SE put Nigeria into the mess we find ourselves today. Nigeria was doing very fine under the regional system of government until greed and conveteousness made ironsi to abolish the system that works and introduced a system that brought us to this mess.

Azikiwe and ironsi were the problem of Nigeria and not north and SW.

The north and SW saw the loop holes in the unitary system and decided to exploit it to their own selfish interests while the SE were reduced to irrelevant onlookers.
If you claim the SE don't have much out of school children like the SW, why not use your academic achievements to rule the country and make your region better than other regions.

Why are you people still claiming developer in other regions?
