Photo Of Governors Saying Bye Bye To Tinubu Trends; Causing Outrage. by Penguin2(op): 5:44am On Sep 05, 2025
NTA posted a picture of governors and a minister saying bye bye to Tinubu as he departed Abuja yesterday for his annual leave, and it has caused outrage online as people are questioning the significance of such practice.

What is most embarrassing is the manner at which they were waving at an already closed plane in a manner that is only comparable to what jobless children would do.

This is not opposition nor anything like it, I’m just sad at the degeneration my country is going through. Every right thinking Nigerian should be embarrassed and angry that governors who should be busy attending to the responsibilities they were elected to take charge of, would rather devote their time to a shameful venture as this one.

I pray Nigeria is saved, and soon.

Useless corrupt criminals from the #1 man to his governors.
Why won't they turn cheerleaders to be part of entourage to airport to go and wave goodbye when Tinubu is killing Nigerians with taxes and use the proceeds to dole out to governors? angry
Made they all not make heaven.

Senators did the same for Akpabio. Nigeria is cooked! It has been destroyed. The only glimmer of hope left is to vote out Tinubu in 2027 so Nigerians can reevaluate and start salvaging what’s left.

Exactly what somebody said.

When they are done waving him goodbye here, they will then enter their plane (usually a chartered flight with public funds) and go and queue up in the country he’s going to also welcome him.

But somehow, you still see people defending them here.

Nigeria will only start working the day our electoral system is completely reformed to reduce rigging by at least 95%.

Once Nigerians have the power to elect their leaders through free, fair, credible election without President having the power to use INEC, Police and Judiciary to rig and install his preferred candidates, that is the day Nigerian leaders will start behaving well and performing according to their campaign promises.

As for now, the Governors are only working hard to please the President so that they can retain their seats through election rigging and election tribunal abracadabra they are currently doing at Appeal and Supreme Courts angry

Lol... Una leave serious issues dey pursue nonsense.

I always say it, Nigerians are not ready. What is this for Christ's sake?

This stupid mentality that someone has to be physically present somewhere to do their job especially a president and governors is just stupid. All they do is approve and disapprove most times which they can do from anywhere. Why do you think so much is spent on special advisers, ministers, etc? Why do they have deputies?

Play opposition with sense. If no governor was there, the same you people would come and say governors have rejected him. Pick an argument and stick with it.

If these things are not protocol, do you think they'll do it. Every country with its own protocols. It has happened under almost every president, why is it a problem now? You go look for irrelevant things and make them issues. Unfortunately, social media is filled with empty brains so they also focus on it.

And you wonder why your government doesn't take you seriously? They never will with how you all keep focusing on stupidity.

This guy is abusing sane Nigerians, saying: -

-A WORKER DOESN’T HAVE TO BE AT HIS/HER JOB POST

-IT IS BETTER FOR A WORKER TO MISAPPROPRIATE FUNDS BY FLYING OFF TO ATTEND TO ISSUES THAT ARE OF NO CONCERN TO HIS/HER POST.

Are you guys seeing this or am I dreaming?
Re: Photo Of Governors Saying Bye Bye To Tinubu Trends; Causing Outrage. by YoshiMaster: 8:31am On Sep 05, 2025
That response by the guy I quoted sha, my goodness.

The guy even mentioned PRPTOCOL.

I wonder….

What PROTOCOL would dictate a governor fly over to wave goodbye to a president?

Aberrations on top aberrations.

Dude actually said PROTOCOL.

Meeeeen!

PROTOCOL?

God have mercy.
Re: Photo Of Governors Saying Bye Bye To Tinubu Trends; Causing Outrage. by YoshiMaster: 8:36am On Sep 05, 2025
The cost of each person getting there might be like 10 million when you factor in the mega entourage that follows them.

I wonder if there is any problem that 10 million can solve in their respective states.

I once saw one guy on Twitter renovate a school for 2 million.

That’s like 5 schools that could have been renovated.

So, we trade renovation of 5 schools as a state, for 5 minutes of our elected governor waving to a president.

How can this ever be justified as a good use of PUBLIC FUNDS?

Or do you guys think each person paid the money from their salary?

Economists in the house should give us the cost of that bye bye. The cost of there transportation from there various states probably by chattered jets, the costs of lodgings in posh hotels and many more hidden costs just to see off a president and the opportunity cost of what could have been done differently with the money in there various states
Re: Photo Of Governors Saying Bye Bye To Tinubu Trends; Causing Outrage. by YoshiMaster: 8:40am On Sep 05, 2025
See where your money goes and why things always seem to remain THE SAME?

So instead of those 5 schools getting renovated they remain the same.

Then the man that used 10 million naira for a 5 min wave will tell the public: -

NIGERIA IS POOR

Yet 10 million has been burnt for a wave.

This is a shameful posture, why are they waving at an aeroplane when they already have saw Pbat off at the tarmac before he entered and entering the plane.

Some drama is not necessary
