This reminds me of visiting lecturers that would burden you with excess materials, use one or two classes to cover all the topics. Imagine Chinese prime minister visiting France every now and then. Make it make sense! |

Bandits re holding sway, carrying AK 47 openly, being praised and idolized by kids, this is a dangerous trend, when kids are inspired by bandits and see them as heroes, because the state governors are so weak and inefficient, Mr President as commander in chief, this is an embarrassment on our security architecture...those bandits should have been tracked back and decimated. How can you sign a peace deal and those dumb terrorists still have their weapons? How on earth will any sane man think a terrorist who eat human beings will change? |

If NIGERIA was a serious country, the next president that will come in would have arrested tinubu first to account for all the money made from fuel subsidy removal and all the borrowed funds. |

You are right to call this out. What we see today is not just an unstable economy—it is a deliberate transfer of hardship to the ordinary citizen. Policies like fuel subsidy removal without proper cushioning, a weak naira without adequate intervention, and skyrocketing food inflation have all combined to push millions into poverty. The numbers don’t lie: Inflation is at its highest in decades, with food inflation making basic meals unaffordable. Millions of jobs have been lost or made irrelevant because incomes no longer match the rising cost of living. Access to healthcare, education, and housing is declining, forcing families to cut back on essentials just to survive. Instead of relief, what Nigerians get is political rhetoric and promises that don’t translate into real solutions. Meanwhile, the ruling elite are shielded from the consequences of their decisions. When a government weaponizes poverty, it creates dependency—people become too hungry or too desperate to resist, and that’s when blind loyalty thrives. It’s not ignorance, it’s survival. So yes, your decision to vote with your conscience is valid. At the very least, it’s a protest against policies that have turned daily living into a battle for survival. oshkoach: |

Elusive001:He didn't make the economy unstable but only brought us out of our fake and window dressing economic situation where the country was borrowing billions of dollars to defend the naira in the forex, to pay salary of workers, to subsidy for foods and fuel. Yes there is nothing bad in borrowing if it is for infrastructure developments and human development. Tinubu's reform is a right and audacious call by the president. No pain, no gain. |
