A Friend of mine who apply FRV in September 2023 just got an email last week for an appointment next month September 2025. Just dropping an information for everyone.

And who does not need this document ? Does a mother and her 1.4 years old child need to also submit

Hello guys, I think that the embassy has gone back to 2 years of waiting now, because if they are currently in September 2023, then it means they are back to 2 years waiting period,

To those that have already done their interview please have you guys heard anything, so we can also have. an idea of how long their processing time is.

from what we all have seen and heard on this platform , they are currently in September 2023, please also take time to read through the trend so you understand better. you can get all the information you need by reading the trend from way back.

I actually did. I noticed people get appointment 1 year 11 months after application and visit the embassy 2 years after. That’s why I’m wondering if I should expect an invite this month since I applied in October 2023 and this month makes it a year and 11 months

I think you should just be on a look out, your appointment should be coming soon .

Good evening everyone here, from what I have read so far applying for an appointment is not a joke, this means waiting till 2027. If so, how are you coping with the wait please someone should please respond. I am really tired of this country and I want a safe way out.
I just got to know about opportunity card this year . On getting here to read about German Visa my spirit is broken.

Yep. I was referring to the supporting documentations to be provided by the spouse already living in germany

Don't bother with the Opportunity Card if you cannot hold a conversation in german, forget about the language requirement on paper.

I heard is possible to do the document verification in Germany. how do i begin the process for them? Also, is 1 year enough time for my husband to learn german atleast up to A2? please i need your response. thanks.

A1 is sufficient for family reunification. He can learn A1 in 3 months if he's dedicated. About the document verification, I really believe it has to be done in Nigeria cos it's a requirement. I stand to be corrected though.

The Immigration office just informed me that they have approved my spouse's visa in germany and forwarded it back to their Nigerian embassy

I just went through our trend now and I can see it took 3 months to process, thats lovely.( July to September )

So guys: waiting time is 2 years and processing time is 3 months if all your documents are complete.
