In the first two years of his administration, the Imo helmsman reportedly left the state 116 times and returned 116 times squandering ₦8.3 million from the public treasury on a private jet for a single trip. At the time, the exchange rate was ₦460 to the dollar; imagine how many billions could be squandered per trip now, with the exchange rate over ₦1,500 to the dollar. Throughout all his travels, he has not attracted any development projects or foreign direct investment to Imo State since becoming governor.

It baffles me how these goons travels always without any substantial changes in our economy, security or structures. As in, how can someone as a governor spend so much on travels as if his office is on the air?

Look at prime ministers abroad, look at some of the most developed nations with we have today, their leaders hardly travel unnecessarily. However, if they do, you'll see evidence of their travels through tighten security, economy changes and foreign trade boom. Here, it's always about individuals, not systemic development.

Tomorrow, this same governor will be criticizing another governor for continues corruption in Imo.
Religion is not really our major problems in this nation. We just have dumb leaders who don't really know, and don't care to know their duties.
