iwaeda:Playing politics with people's lives. As far as I'm concerned, Borno, Zamfara, Benue, Yobe should be under an indefinite state of Emergency, renewable after every constitutionally approved durations. There's no point having a so called Chief Security Officer of a state aka governor, who does not control any security paraphernalia of state. It makes mockery of Federalism. Northern Nigeria is under attack. It's a state of anarchy. The government must rise to their responsibilities and not junketing abroad when their backyard is on fire. |

It’s unfortunate this is still happening in 2025. No government has cut boko haram from the bud, instead, they keep entering into an agreement with these terrorists. Northerners really have to do better too. Rather than being at the forefront of calling for true justice on these terrorists, they are the ones who usually facilitate their reintegration or negotiations with them. |

Know this and know truth and know peace. Any news from this Tinubu government about victory in the war against insecurity, bandit's and Boko Haram is a dangerous LIE and a Useless damage control. |

Bimow:I see. So why did this government charge the previous ones with failure on that front and why did they promise to end insecurity if as you allege and I quote, 'nothing else Asiwaju and the military can do about... it' Mister, this means one of two things. The government is either insincere or incompetent. There are no excuses. It is a political crime to obtain office under false pretense and I just hope your fellow supporters and indeed this government does not toe this line if not it has no reason whatsoever to be re elected. Democracy means you get there based on what you intend to do having persuaded the people you can do it. And just like any other job description if you cannot perform you simply cannot continue. |

Extremists, tell your bokoharam brethren, that no matter what they do, Nigeria will remain a secular country, where we drink beer, party, advance ideas and live how we want...let bokoharam know that their death and killing of others is a waste of energy...the only result they will get is state taking more strong stand against the extremists Muslims, and state making more laws against the evil fulani herdsmen. What a waste of energy, what a useless evil ideology. |

RIP 😭 to the dead. A sad one! Thank God, this didn't happen in South East or Niger Delta. Otherwise, soldiers would have wiped out the inhabitants. But since it's North, they remain nonplussed. Are there Two laws operating in fighting insurgency in the country. One for the north, The other for the South. Honestly, The inhabitants of Banki where this incident happened would have been wiped out from surface of the earth if it were in southeast. Shame unto Nigerian Army for double standard! |
