My father died day before yesterday of which was Friday, the last time I saw my father, he said my son, please eat with me, you have proven yourself to be truly my son..


I said no thank you I have eaten at home food cooked by my wife and I'm not hungry, nevertheless you don't have much food here but the manageable one we've provided, any way let me go and get you your inhaler you ask that I buy for you since you say you can't breathe well.
When I came back with the inhaler he said my son, thank you for everything you have done for me at all times.


I said anything for you my daddy.
Anyway let me go back to work and I left him with my sister's and that was the last time I saw him.
Before I came back, daddy has passed away.
I'm in sorrow.



He asked me to do all I can to make sure he live and die on his own land.
I did that for him.
The first cement I bought in my life wasn't to build my own house but to build house for daddy.




It was when his immediate younger sister same father, same mother came that she told me how my father called her in his sick bed on phone telling her how I spends half million within weeks just to make sure he is okay.


I don't have much I'm just a random person that Nigeria isn't fare to.

I have two brothers and 5 sisters.

Nevertheless he doesn't have such.
He used his last cash to train us to university I and my siblings and on his dying bed, we all stood by him.


His last child is 13 years.
He say his father died when he was 11 and he was last son by then though he had two younger sisters.
He wants to beat that record and make sure his last child pass that age.

When he lied down in the casket, I moved round the casket like 5 times crying bitterly while holding my daughter and son close to the casket.
Imagine even the son was born this year and I thank God he carried the son and told him and say to himself.

He is a core Traditional Religion man.
But he say Jesus change the world for good say if not for Jesus the world would not be so good.
He say Jesus brought blessings to the world more than any other being.



When they want to do final prayer for him in his grave, they ask if they should pray as a Christian for him or not.
I said no they should pray according to what he believes most.


So my elder brother his first son took stage and pray according to Izon Traditions with Kai Kai poured in his grave.

Take heart broken, I can understand your pain but you have tried the much you can. One most important part I think of a man's life is to be in good relationship with his parents till the very last time. To reciprocate that love they showed in raising one as a child.

u tried ur best for him just like some of us did too.but incase of next time just pinch d food.it wouldn’t stop u from going to go get the inhaler.U be normal pikin.na only mad kids no Dey take care of their parents.the last words my dad said before he stopped talking was to my siblings.i wasn’t even there but he said to them to help him thank me.If u don’t take care of ur parents who will.

Sorry about ur loss..but how can a whole general abi field mashall of a niger delta state..say that food is little in the house and manageable..
