Good news if true. The man must have learned his lessons.
Godfatherism is bad, but if u know u can't subdue to their demands, don't win an an election under any godfather.
He was pushed, didn't choose his battle.
He wasn't pushed.

He didn't get to be governor with the people's support. He was handpicked.

So, best He could do after falling out with his benefactor was to draw support from opposition.

I thought state of emergency is good why don't you like it in your own state is this not a clear example of hypocrisy

However, with the peace deal struck “whether pyrrhic or long lasting”, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister, Nyesom Wike “is vehemently against such backdoor scheme and wants the emergency rule lifted as soon as practicable on September 18.”

Lol.... this just told me all I needed to know grin
Make Tinubu no go collect the state from hin hand

I wonder why it is so hard for a black man to resign
Because the blackman is feudal in nature. Offices to him are throne rooms. He sees no responsibility above but only subjects below so he is filled with pride and arrogance.

This is not restricted to political office but every position of leadership the black man is privileged to occupy. Be it in the home, in social gatherings, as entrepreneurs and in business, everywhere.

We have this chip on the shoulder that resists the formation of the kind of independent thought that questions our authority. But which is critical in establishing viable, sustainable entities.

This is typically why for example we don't have business names that are trans generational or political office holders of great legacies.

If you all are tired of this charade, you can draw the curtain. I don't think anyone is fooled by this propaganda media report.

No matter how you try to play it, what happened in Rivers is not democracy and has laid the blueprint for State capture.

Anyone who so desires a state and intends to grab it by all means needs not look far anymore for an excuse.

"It happened in Rivers in 2025."
They just assassinated democracy in broad day light. Any president can just remove any governor and install his own as long as he wants.

Imagine removing a democratic elected governor and install your own and new cabinets.

The last paragraph makes me want to throw up. Can't Fubara be allowed to make his own appointments? Who is the person writing this list in the first place?

Let's see if the story of Weak and spineless Fubara will be the story of a calculative man who bid his time before striking

bitterness will just kill you. If Tinubu didn't intervene, fubara would have been impeached. Stop crying than the bereaved Emeka. Fubara even thank the president for saving him from impeachment.

Do you believe that if Tinubu had listened to those people and dare extended it beyond the six months expiration date. I swear to myself, Wike will mount on Tinubu like a tiger and beat him blue black inside that Aso Rock....infact that would be the end of Tinubu's 2027 part 2..

And if Fubara was impeached for the right reasons what is wrong with that. What is the meaning of an illegal, unconstitutional act done to prevent a constitutional act. What kind of reasoning is this.

Nigerians should just learn to do what is right for once in their lifetimes. The man you alluded to has not come across as one desperate for power so let the people decide whether he stays or goes. He did not ask to be removed to save himself from being removed.

Exactly, infact, Tinubu covered the shame that would have befell Fubara cos one, if he's impeached,it's going to be binding cos it's in the Constitution and no remedy. Two, The President intelligently kept him aside to avoid impeachment whereby reconciliation was done at the back and time given for temper to cool.....Fubara would have been history by now if Tinubu didn't quickly interfere and of course intelligently at the exact time. Even Wike was shock at the emergence of Emergency rule.....Wike wanted outright impeachment and final burial rights of Fubara and his cohort.....

I really do not like talking about this Fubara matter because the premise of the whole thing rests on the malaise of godfatherism and the crime of election rigging however most people on both sides of the argument would have expected Fubara to have put up a fight of emancipation and have gone down (if inevitable) via impeachment to salvage whatever honour was left.

So to try and paint the illegal scenario of truncating the democratic process (which has enough self cleaning capabilities) in any other light is just retarded.

Fubara knows he will get it rough because he was not popularly elected. The lessons of his travails were necessary to discourage the unholy act going forward in the polity. The Presidency or whoever was behind the illegality of removing him is not on the side of democracy and certainly not on the side of what it right for the people.

It's crazy. In a country as insecure as Nigeria, every state is practically begging for a State of Emergency to be declared. All that is needed, even in the most peaceful of states, is instigation, which could even be what happened in Rivers in the first place.
Re: Rivers: Move For Ibas' Tenure Extension Collapses, Fubara To Return On Sept 18 by Dalohad: 10:53am On Sep 07, 2025
Do you know the funny thing about the case, it exposed many Tinubu supporters as hypocrites.

These group of people preached to us during Ngige/PDP's time about the evils of godfatherism, The Nation's newspaper Sam Omatseye wrote articles against it, Dele Alake condemned it, Bayo Onanuga lost his voice pontificating about ills of godfatherism.. Together with many of their lowly cadre Tinubuists..

Today, they are the biggest supporters of godfatherism in Rivers State. Wike is their Pope and Fubara is the bad one..

I assure you that tides will turn someday, and I will like to see the expression on their conscienceless faces..

Tommorow is heavily pregnant.
