ntyce is another one of the people that rushed to post without reading the first post and that's why he wrote, "leave his state to bid bye bye and wave at Air Force 1?" Anyway, don't go anywhere folks, I'll be back to post the articles when I finish eating breakfast. |

The USA peaked about 12 / 15 years ago. Obviously it's power grip is on a downward trend, and since it's the nucleous of EU and Western inventions, they have also been pulled along the same trend. Relatively and experiecially, I believe the West will still be better and fairer than the Chinese or Russian rulership of the world. Basically In terms of humanitarianism and fair conscience. |

Also show us the pictures of security situation in those countries, pictures of their economy, pictures of their minimum wages, pictures of their road networks, pictures of their inflation, pictures of their GDP, pictures of their healthcare system, pictures of their educational system etc. Don't just compare where they were waving at airplane alone also compare other indices used to measure the situation of a country. Ndi ala. |

As I said, the governors were in Abuja for other engagements. They didn't go to Abuja just to wave to the president (I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with going to Abuja to wave to the president). Babajide Sanwo-Olu @jidesanwoolu Today, I delivered the keynote address at the inaugural GITEX Nigeria Government Leadership and AI Summit at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.https://x.com/jidesanwoolu/status/1962536079682117992?t=Y_Wtf0pJ6BiOLGJnDXfI0Q&s=19 |

The education will come bit by bit. First of all we will tackle the idea that the governors travelled to Abuja just to wave at the president. That's what we are doing now. Then we'll ask what's wrong if the governors travels to Abuja to wave at the president. Stay tuned. |

Waving at Aircraft: Let’s Be Serious Some APC apologists are now trying to defend governors who left their states to gather in Abuja, only to wave at the president’s plane. They even claim this is a global tradition. Let’s apply logic. 1. Context matters. Yes, people wave at planes all over the world. But those are usually symbolic occasions: U.S. presidential inaugurations, military send-offs, or ceremonial departures. Governors waving at a departing president’s plane is neither tradition nor necessity. 2. The “window seat” defense. Saying it’s fine because “aircraft have window seats” is laughable. By that logic, leaders should stand at airports daily to wave at every dignitary flying out. Leadership isn’t about theatrics, it’s about governance. 3. Priorities are skewed. These governors were not in Abuja for a special farewell ceremony. They were in Abuja for meetings and condolence visits. Tagging along to the airport just to wave adds no value to governance in their states, where urgent issues demand attention. 4.False equivalence with the U.S. inauguration In the U.S., the outgoing president is escorted once in four years by the incoming leadership as part of a constitutional handover ritual. That is not the same as governors abandoning their posts for symbolic gestures whenever the president travels abroad. 5. Optics matter. Nigeria is facing economic hardship, insecurity, and governance crises. What citizens see are their governors acting like political cheerleaders instead of problem-solvers. The laughter and ridicule are not about ignorance of tradition—they are about misplaced priorities. Waving at planes is not “bush.” But governors wasting time and taxpayers’ money on irrelevant optics, while their states struggle, is irresponsible. What’s truly “bush and unexposed” is mistaking sycophancy for statesmanship. |

Hope Uzodimma @Hope_Uzodimma1 Today, I led a delegation of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) on a condolence visit to the National Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, who recently lost his beloved mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda. We also visited our colleague, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who is mourning the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.https://x.com/Hope_Uzodimma1/status/1960812628835508644?t=1yZqC_MJTfEGpxXgFMOPOw&s=19 |

naptu2:Una no get sense at all. All the videos you posted, did you see any governor waving at the president? You even showed a video of the former president leaving after hand over. If you don't see anything wrong in your governors display of buffoonery, you are long gone. |

It's not everybody that is able to comprehend things easily, so I'll provide a one-time simple explanation. There are 3 issues: 1) Is it strange for people to wave at "closed aircraft". That's what this thread is about. 2) Did the governors travel to Abuja just to wave at an aircraft? Although that's not what this thread about, I answered the question in the first post, but some people are pretending that they can't see it. 3) Is there anything wrong with governors going to wave at aircraft? We haven't touched this issue yet, but we'll address it before the end of today (if you read my diary, then you'll know that I have addressed it a year or two ago). |

Vulcan24:I don't know you but you are obviously smart. 95% of the people complaining about leaders, whether in the office or government, are just frustrated at their own lives and need just any opportunity to ventilate. Unfortunately, when they throw their pent-up anger towards anyone, the person feels compelled to explain over and over again, not realizing that no explanation will be enough for someone whose real pain is inside of him. You can't stop a rebellious person from venting and creating chaos and even when you do what he wants, he still finds another thing to complain about. And if you give him the post to act, you realize he has no physical nor mental skills to achieve what he was ranting about. Rebels posing as Radicals. Mtchew. |

naptu2:This is quite painful to watch. I read your awesome posts and I enjoy your "voice". I am just pained that you keep trying to explain yourself to people who will absolutely not "get it". Oga, go and find better posts to give us and not bother with this weird people. |

Oh geez! I'm doing so many things at once that I forgot to post this video! This video shows you that the person in the plane can see the person outside. Basically, it's a reverse of the issue. In this case, the pilot waved at the people on the tarmac. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FC3wHPnr8Q?si=zaUqlbyISark9Tl0 |
