Those of us who are lagosians/indigenes knew that this osun man and his crew were dangerous for both yorubaland and nigeria. But the thugs he empowered on the streets stopped us from voting in our own land and amechi helped with laptops for botting & tribal gaslighting. Now see, everything is taxed and COL is high just like it is in Lagos. This man transformed lagos from a socialist/welfare state to a class society that rips hard workers off.

This is why Tinubu wants to silence dissenting views/opinions so that he can continue to ride roughshod without any form of opposition to his anti-people economic policies..

He's quick to point to the fact that "fuel tax" is a global best practice but fails to take into account the prevailing conditions and circumstances in those "developed countries" compared to what obtains in Nigeria.

Of what use is it to hopelessly impoverished citizens if they die while the government goes about sermonizing on the benefits of road infrastructure?

Na roads dem go take pay school fees, house rent, medical bills, etc, etc, etc?

No matter the envisaged benefits of these draconian economic policies, they must be implemented with a human face.

This man will never seize to amaze me, first he said subsidy removal will make the govt enough money to build infrastructure years after removing subsidy they introduced 5% Tax to build infrastructure and development, if you are still in your right senses and support what will create hardship for you then you’ve shot yourselves in your foots, at this point both APC, PDP LP and independent voters will definitely be affected, y’all should be playing politics with national interests Las las na suffer go unite una together 😂😂

The government further said the five per cent tax on fuel is a global best practice obtainable in other developed countries.

“This practice is virtually universal, with over 150 countries imposing various charges ranging between 20 per cent to 80 per cent of fuel products to guarantee regular investment in road infrastructure,” it said.
