A Nigerian shares his experience on teaching his wife how to drive

His post generated many reactions from people who said that husbands teaching wives how to drive always end up with quarrels

For the second time, I want to go and teach SGM how to drive.

Please, if you have successfully taught your wife how to drive and it was a success, tell me what you did.

I told her let me pay for driving school, she said no she wants me to teach her.
The last time we tried this, I went home with headache.

Right now, I am on my knees begging her to listen to me this time.

And to my people in Enugu, especially within Trans Ekulu axis if you see a black Corolla, just start running.
If you hear shouting inside, it’s me. I’m not m@d o, it’s just me teaching driving.

When teaching someone something be you the husband or whoever.

You just have to be PATIENT

My brother in law was always having quarels...

With his madam while teaching her to drive. Till he abandoned/aborted the mission.

Madam never ever got to completely learn till she passed away years later.

I don't know why but I think the premise is solid.

I think I am a good teacher though. I never had any quarels while teaching my own madams.

Maybe it's because we weren't married though.

But I think the key is patience!

As for me, I learned to drive at 17. By 21 I was doing interstate trips. By the time I met him, na only tipper I no fit drive. So nothing spoil.

Up to 3 years now, I've been avoiding that topic of driving lesson with my woman, I no like wahala. Someone that will seat in the front, to match speed as a man on a very smooth road, she will stiff-up as someone who is about to enter trance and be telling me the speed is much. There was a time I told her, abeg, please always seat in the back so I won't be confused while driving.

When she's ready to drive true true, she will agree with me to enrol her in driving school. I no get strength...

I wonder why this is always an issue. What my elder brother couldn't do, I did in just 2days. His wife asked for my help and I took her to our village church field. By the next day, she drove me there herself. My brother get normal sense pass me and he is very good with patience but I wondered why he wasn't patient enough to teach his own wife driving. He taught me with our father's old pickup when I entered uni because the old wise man recruited him into his cement business early so why couldn't he teach his wife?

1)My papa.
2) Did my first interstate at 20+. I was serving and needed to move my things there. I didn't return the car, it was manual and no one wanted it anyway. From there I went with my fellow corps members to neighbouring states. They fuel my car and we go. I don't know what gave us the nerve, but we did it and it was fun then. No regrets.

Women don't like taking correction from men, especially man they have been intimate with

A fellow woman can advise a woman and she will listen meekly

A man from outside can advise a woman and will concur

But if her husband/fiance/boyfriend give her exactly same advise as the people above, she will retort and revolt with anger or scorn... Once a female have seen your unclothedness as man, it'll be very hard for her to take corrections from you again except you have strong hand or she fear you

I can teach you tipper for free along with Dangote trailer and tanker, just promise me that you'll pay your tithes and you'll get all these skills for free.
