spiceadole:Not capping, I have seen and I know a good number of Medicine & Surgery students who successfully combined business and studies. Of course none of them would say it was easy. Nuzo1:Where on earth has buying and selling worsened a bad economy? How does buying and selling turn "schools to a nuisance"? |

mubarak89:1. Nigeria is an example sir. Buying and selling without production kills the economy. 2. It will even be worse in an academic community as the students will need storage spaces for the buying and selling. 3. Just like stated, students need more of experience in production and service industries than in trading. 4. Other progressive countries encourage students to work in production and service industries than just doing buying and selling. 5. The main purpose of being in school is to learn. But if you must make profit, it should be structured in a way the work will correspond with your major in school and also should not take the whole of your time as a student. The purpose of my initial comment is not to dissuade students from making extra money or make unnecessary arguments, but to highlight how others have empowered their students without turning everyone to a trader. |

mubarak89:Please find time to go through my submission before responding or asking further questions. Please note that we are talking about students engaging in buying and selling in school. If you read well, I clearly proffered solutions or alternatives to buying and selling by students in school. But to go beyond students and school environments, it’s still bad for the economy. Buying and selling without production in any country is simply impoverishing and shrinking the economy. Nigeria is a typical example. |
