Building your own does not remove risks of land ownership disputes or goverment compulsory acquisition and subsequent voiding of C of O.

The only thing is to do all required land searches and take no ones word for it.

If he had searched he would have probably found that the C of O was still in the name of the owners. Short of a SC judgement or elapsation of time for appeal, the property remained contentious.

He probably took someone's word for it.

U do know amcon seizes properties frm people who are owing banks n cant pay back.they are backed by law to sell this property. The problem is naija is lawless.our judiciary is in a mess...connected goons can get away wit anything via court

They are backed by law to confiscate and to sell. However, if there is anything amiss in that process, the courts can overturn the sale as happened in this case.

The actions of all government agencies is subject to judicial review as applicable.

Wat i am clearly trying to state is judiciary is on sale.Amcon normally get order before they act n now same court is revising a sale....its all power pass power.if we had a judiciary that works,police cannot harrass u without going to jail.right now police go shoot u n nothing go happen. Bros there is a hierarchy in the court system: magistrate court, high court, appeals court and supreme court. Unless you have a supreme court ruling you can sleep easy unless the time for filing the appeal has elapsed.

As for bribing all levels of the court system good luck to that!
