The guy mistake waste disposal/collection for scrap business. Scrap business is the one Abokis are mostly involved using scavengers to go to waste dumping sites to collect scrap metals, irons, plastics and so on. They have the main boss who who owns big dumping sites for collection and storage of those items.

Those scavengers work for the boss who are giving money to buy scraps or are paid after supplying the boss those items the scout. The boss who owns the dumping sites is the rich person in the game because he will supply to large waste recycling or metal manufacturing plants. At times, foreigners come from abroad to ship those items to their factories.

He already clarified it with me. It is Location based, you can't show up anywhere in Lagos and collect anybody waste without being a LAWMA contractor. And all contractors are card carrying APC members.

Anywhere else logistics alone will humble that 500k. The guy is capping, he knows nothing

My idea: since I can't do it myself, I will employ or outsource the jobs to people who can do it after securing the contract.

Cleaning services is okay, and more regular, I know a lot of people doing it. Outsourcing it will also work

It's currently one of the easy and cheap business to start with good returns.
You just have to be in a good location and I guarantee you that you get a good return no matter the competition..
With that startup capital you are likely going to get within 35, 40, to 60k monthly.

All what you said can't be achieved with 500k. You must register as waste collector, you will also be paying were to dump waste and burn. It is good business but not with 500k to start.

Not everywhere in Nigeria is registration important.
