“In the early days of 1979, the Soviet Union envisioned fostering friendship across Europe and beyond, with an eye on the future. Nigeria, a vibrant African nation, stood out due to its potential for success, fueled by reports of its booming oil deals in the global market.

The Soviets sought not dominance but genuine partnership, believing that two great nations could coexist and create something extraordinary from nothing. In 1980, the Ajaokuta Steel Company was established as a landmark of this vision, showcasing what such a collaboration could achieve.

All of these countries will never do without Nigeria and its citizen, both in a positive and negative way.

A lot of times, Nigerians do not understand that these countries rely on our resources to live and survive, our economic is what makes theirs thrive, our workforce is what grow theirs.

FACT! nothing good can ever come from Africans fraternizing with the west.

they came with slave trade, they claim they abolished it but in reality they invented nachines and had no need for human labour. So instead they replaced slavery with colonialism, a means to exploit natural resources of Africa this time not labour.

Then they came after the world wars when their economies were devastated and they needed natural resources to rebuild, and said we the good guys have seen the light and we shall grant you independence. Except that apart from creating artificial countries with inahbitants destined to constantly clash, they impose and assasinate non compliant leaders but more importantly, they set the rules of trade such that it was almost impossible to break the shackles. They replaced colonialism with neocolonialism/imperialism. A system whereby no matter how hard you try you keep going backwards.

The West, even Russia were all jealous of Nigeria. They knew that if Nigeria got the Ajaokuta steel industry working, that will spell a doom for their own local steel production. All of them worked hand-in-hand to keep Nigeria and perhaps other African countries down below their foot for their own selfish reasons.

I blame the kind of leaders we have on the African continent. We're made to believe that we are Apes and monkeys and chose to behave as one. China, India, and a host of other Asian countries discovered themselves and embrace development in the face of global obscurity. What happened in our case? Greed and hatred for one another. It's a sad story.

The first thing they did was lump people who do not belong together in one country and force them to adopt a foreign language, thus making them lose their self esteem. Thats why you see Nigerians disparage their own think speaking english is a badge of honour and fall over themselves to be like the white man. \That inferiority complex that they systematically created is the root of our problem.

There is no country that props itself from developing to developed by speaking another man's language.

India, China, Russia etc all speak their own language.

Show me a country that has become great by speaking another man's language?

its not the language itself, its the pyschological damage, the inferiority complex, the loss of identity, the loss of self respect , the loss of dignity of nations.
