I thought you are here to speak facts not what people are saying around you.

So do you agree with what billions are saying around you about the Bible?

If you are for the truth please prove you are with evidence not what people say in your ears.

I'm telling you now that when i became inquisitive to figure out exactly what people say about Jehovah's Witnesses i discovered that it's all lies but i want you to prove me wrong by quoting just one publication of Jehovah's Witnesses where what you are saying could be found written.

You came quoting the Bible as evidence of what you read in it not what people in general are saying about the book so it's time to do the same thing with Jehovah's Witnesses Organization.

Please prove me wrong!😟
After the failed 1975 prediction for the end of the world Jehovah's Witnesses leaders and elders removed all traces of these predictions from their magazines publications like Awake and Watchtower and claimed that anyone with a remembrance if these failed predictions was a liar. It was a scorched earth policy.

It is the same scorched earth policy that Mr Kumuyi is applying in Deeper Life. This was a man that labelled Television and radio as devil's instruments and ordered all his members to destroy them. If you tell a Gen z member of that church that such were once church policies they will be arguing with me the same way you are arguing that Jehovah's Witnesses never predicted the end of the world several times and failed every single time.

Hmmmmmmmmm!

So in a nutshell there is no evidence.
Please try to keep a record of what you want to present before coming out to loud it. You don't know how this single attempt finished all your stories.
If you don't have any evidence that JWs predicted the end of the world with specific dates yet you are typing so much claiming it happened that has really jeopardized all your effort to ridicule the Bible.

You can't go to the court of law accusing someone of a wrongdoing only to end up claiming the accused has destroyed your only evidence and at the same time expecting everyone to welcome your accusations as facts simply because you are so passionate about it!😓

Well let's go back to what we were discussing before you brought in this diversion.

Guy,
You are not getting away with this your gaslighting which is the usual tactic of all religious organisations without exception. The fact that the Jehovah Witness cult group adopted a scorched earth policy of deleting and cancelling out all evidence of their consistent failed doomsday predictions does not mean it is not recorded in other world documents records.
The reason I told you about the scorched earth policy is because you asked me to mention any edition of Jehovah's Witnesses magazines such as Awake or Watchtower that stated this and I responded that JEHOVAH WITNESS ORGANISATION HAD DELETED ALL THESE FAILED END OF THE WORLD PREDICTIONS IN THEIR DOCUMENTATION[/b]S. I like having a healthy debate but I honestly find religious people as sneaky, dishonest and deliberately obtuse during debates.

Below are records of dates Jehovah Witness organisation predicted the end of the world and failed.

There are lots and lots of misconceptions Bible readers have just like their ancient counterparts who wrote the Bible, most of them don't understand what they were inspired to pen down.
Take for instance Daniel, this Jewish man loved the tradition, culture and worship of the Jews so much that God chose him to serve as a prophet in his lifetime.
Daniel was inspired to write about what will happen when God brings an end to human suffering globally but then Daniel felt confused about what his God inspired him to write {Daniel 12:8a} said to the God who showed him all these things:

“O my lord, what will be the outcome of these things?” Daniel 12:8b

Can you imagine the response he got?

Well this is what God said to Daniel:

“Go, Daniel, because the words are to be kept secret and sealed up until the time of the end. Many will cleanse themselves and whiten themselves and will be refined. And the wicked ones will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will understand; but those having insight will understand." Daniel 12:9-10

Daniel the prophet of God who wrote a book in his name, given interpretation of a dream which Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had in his time can't understand what God inspired him to pen down about the future!

So generation to generation of God's people kept longing for the time when an end to badness will come but one thing keeps happening to them: God was unveiling the meaning gradually that each time a prophecy regarding the end time is fulfilled worshipers of the true God jump into conclusion that it's in their lifetime the end will come even though they never got an information about the specific date.

Let's start with worshipers of God in the first century as in the Jewish community!

When the time come for the Christ to begin the gathering of the subjects of God's Kingdom a prophet was sent to prepare the minds of Jewish people in the first century: John the baptist began shouting in the wilderness that the Christ is on his way! Matthew 3:1-6

Do you know what this means for the Jews?

Well consider what happened when the king of Judea had that the Christ has been born, this Jewish king (Herod the great) wanted to get rid of the child!

WHY?

Because he thought this child will dethrone him as prophecied long before then by several prophets. Psalms 110:1-3; Isaiah 9:6-7; Daniel 2:44

This led to the killing of many children in Bethlehem but baby Jesus has been taken away due to warning from God. Matthew 2:16

That's the beginning of trouble for first century Jewish community!

Just imagine how intelligent you seems to be with the way you've presented your arguments only to believe the words of a prime enemy of the accused as evidence instead of what the accused said.
Do you know that the greatest enemy of Jehovah's Witnesses is the Catholic Church?
Well this further proves that you have no evidence regarding what you are saying against Jehovah's Witnesses!😟

My question to you Mr Maximus is,:~WHY WOULD I JOIN AN ORGANISATION WITH A PENCHANT TO CONSISTENTLY PREDICT THE END OF THE WORLD AND CONSISTENTLY FAIL WOEFULLY LIKE A BET NAIJA ADDICT?
Re: The Bible 101 For Dummies. by MaxInDHouse(m): 10:05am On Sep 08, 2025
Well King Herod the great died and baby Jesus was brought back to Judea where he grew up to become a young man he was a cousin of John who became the baptist so when John began shouting in the wilderness that the Christ is about to appear many Jews were going to him to show their repentance towards the laws of their God and John was teaching them the things he understood about the prophecies yet he doesn't have an accurate knowledge of God's Kingdom truth. How do we know this?
After he baptized Jesus, saw God's holy spirit landed on Jesus' head and heard God's voice John was so certain that Jesus is the Christ but shortly after John was arrested and bound with chains in a dungeon for speaking against an unlawful marriage between Herod Antipas and Herodias his brother's wife.

John expected Jesus to begin destroying all the kingdoms (evil and harsh governments) of the world and start his righteous rule as prophesied in the scriptures {Daniel 2:44} but instead Jesus was busy preaching up and down so John sent his disciples to ask Jesus if he is the Christ or the Jews should be expecting someone else! Matthew 11:3

Can you imagine what John the baptist must have told his followers about the Christ?
Surely all his followers believe that it's in their lifetime that the end of badness will come after all the long awaited Christ has come!
Please note how the first century Jewish community continue to find themselves in confusion after confusion regarding the time of the end. King Herod the great heard from astrologers, out of fear he sent soldiers to kill all babies in Bethlehem, Zachariah's wife Elizabeth got pregnant at her oldage and gave birth to a child whose birth was full of strange events, the birth of Jesus when shepherds saw many angels announced the birth of the Christ, Jesus began performing miracles in fulfilment of the things God's Kingdom will bring globally.

All these events occurred at different times so if you lived in the first century Jewish community what would you have concluded with the way Jews were jubilating in anticipation of the coming Kingdom of their God?
Surely you will start to attach each event to the times the Jewish community were jubilating claiming they prophesied the end of the world going by the days they were aroused with anxiety!🙂

Here is Chatgpt's take on the Jehovah witness predictions. grin grin

.
GPT-4
The Jehovah's Witnesses have made several predictions regarding the end of the world, often referred to as "Armageddon." Over the years, these predictions have not come to pass, leading to criticism and scrutiny. Here are some notable instances:

Key Predictions
1914
The organization initially taught that 1914 would mark the beginning of the end times, based on their interpretation of biblical prophecy. They believed that Christ returned invisibly in that year and that the world would soon face significant upheaval. While World War I did begin in 1914, the anticipated end did not occur.

1925
Another significant prediction was for 1925, when the Witnesses expected the resurrection of faithful biblical figures and the establishment of God's Kingdom on Earth. This prediction did not materialize, leading to disappointment among followers.

1975
The year 1975 was also highlighted as a potential date for the end. The organization suggested that the world would end within a generation of 1914, which many interpreted to mean by 1975. When this did not happen, it caused a crisis of faith for many members.

2000s and Beyond
In more recent years, the organization has shifted its focus away from specific dates, emphasizing that no one knows the exact time of the end. They now teach that the end could come at any moment, which allows for a broader interpretation and less accountability for failed predictions.

You haven't present one single evidence from the publications of the accused but going round and round in circles raising different accusers.
Well you have chosen your path now what you are seeking is support from the same people who filled the Internet with lies about Jehovah's Witnesses but you forgot one thing:
These accusers did what you are using as evidence today because they want to silence Jehovah's Witnesses and poison whoever wants to learn the truth from them so if you are against the Bible which all of them claims they believe they won't support you nah!😟

So forget about all the lies they cooked up and face the reality.
Jehovah's Witnesses never mentioned a single date regarding the end of the world just as John the baptist and Jesus of Nazareth both preached the kingdom of God some 2,000 years ago and Jewish community say both are false prophets because they thought these two men said the end will come in the first century the same thing happened in our time. Period! smiley

Since two years ago someone is here seeking the attention of Bible believers just to hurt them by calling them names simply because politics has caused him sleepless nights.
Well that's why Jesus prayed for his own disciples not to engage in worldly politics {John 17:14-16} as peace often eludes anyone who engage in politics {John 14:26-17} and Jesus' disciples must prove to be peaceful everywhere they find themselves! Matthew 10:16

THE PAUL PARADOX:-
Paul originally named Saul was alleged to have written almost half of the books in the New testament of the Bible compendium although it has been pointed out that there are only authentic undisputed Pauline letters namely Romans, 1st and 2nd Corinthians,Galatians,Philippians,Philemon and 1st Thessalonians.

All other letters are regarded as Deutero (disputed) Pauline letters. Disputed, because these letters namely:-Ephesians,Colossians,2nd Thessalonians,1st and 2nd Timothy,Titus.

The fascination of Saul/Paul I'm the new testament is the various characteristics he displays in the New testament where Paul claims to have had an epiphany of the resurrected Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus. Saul/Paul never met or knew Jesus. His insight on Jesus on which he wrote his letters was the blinding flash meeting with Jesus on the road to persecute disciples of Jesus.

It is strange that in all Saul/Pauline writings of letters he never talks about the Sermon on the Mountain or the Sermon on the plain. He never talks about the specific miracles performed by Jesus. He never writes about Jesus turning water to wine. He never talks about the feeding of 5000 with fishes and loaves of bread. He never discusses the virgin birth of Jesus. He never writes about Mary or Joseph. His only concern is the cosmic Jesus and what his resurrection means to his followers.
Re: The Bible 101 For Dummies. by Caveatemptor(op):
SAUL/PAUL'S RADICAL AND RUTHLESS ATTACK ON THE DISCIPLES ESPECIALLY PETER AND JAMES THE BROTHER OF JESUS.

This radical attack occurs mainly in the letter to the Galatians and more moderately and watered down the the Acts of the Apostles.

Paul insists that his gospel did not come from men, not even the Twelve, but directly from Jesus Christ through revelation (Galatians 1:11–12

1. Paul’s Self-Understanding vs. the Jerusalem Apostles
Paul insists that his gospel did not come from men, not even the Twelve, but directly from Jesus Christ through revelation (Galatians 1:11–12).
He claims he is equal in authority to Peter, James, and John—rejecting the idea that they are above him just because they knew Jesus in the flesh.
This already undermines the hierarchy of the Jerusalem church.
2. Confrontation with Peter in Antioch (Galatians 2:11–14)
Paul recounts an explosive incident where he publicly rebukes Peter (Cephas) for hypocrisy.
Peter had eaten with Gentiles, but when men from James arrived, he withdrew out of fear.
Paul saw this as a betrayal of the gospel of grace, calling him out in front of everyone.
This was essentially a direct, radical attack on the leader of the disciples.
3. Attack on the “False Brothers” (Galatians 2:4)
Paul calls some within the Jerusalem community “false brothers” who were trying to spy on Christian freedom and enslave believers under the Law.
This is cutting language—it implies that some of the supposed followers of Christ were not genuine Christians at all.
4. Paul’s Rejection of Circumcision and Law (Galatians & Romans)
The Jerusalem apostles (especially James) were seen as Torah-observant leaders who expected Gentile converts to respect Jewish traditions at least partially.
Paul attacks this position as a perversion of the gospel:
“If righteousness could be gained through the Law, Christ died for nothing” (Galatians 2:21).
This stance was so radical it caused a permanent rift between his mission and the Jerusalem church.
Re: The Bible 101 For Dummies. by Caveatemptor(op): 9:51pm On Sep 11, 2025
5. Paul’s Harsh Language
In Galatians 5:12, Paul lashes out at those pushing circumcision:
“I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!”
Such language was not just theological—it was a violent rhetorical attack on his opponents, some of whom were connected to the Jerusalem disciples.
6. Later Tensions
In 2 Corinthians 11, Paul sarcastically refers to the Jerusalem leaders as “super-apostles”, mocking their supposed superiority.
In Philippians 3, he calls legalistic teachers “dogs” and “mutilators of the flesh.”
These polemics suggest that Paul’s relationship with the disciples was never smooth; he felt they compromised the gospel

Paul’s “radical attack” on the disciples is best seen in Galatians—he undermines their authority, calls some of them false brothers, rebukes Peter to his face, and presents his gospel as independent of Jerusalem. This was not a polite disagreement; it was a full-blown ideological war that shaped the future of Christianity.
Re: The Bible 101 For Dummies. by Caveatemptor(op): 12:51pm On Sep 12, 2025
Now juxtapose the story of Saul/Paul’s aggressive attack on Peter,James and the church elders in his letters to the Galatians with the re-written watered down version of the same story in the Acts of the Apostles chapters 15.

The story of how Saul/Paul meets with the elders in Jerusalem are two totally different pictures of Saul/Paul's character.
Galatians chapter 2 has Saul/Paul aggressively attacking Peter,James and other church leaders as hypocrites and false preachers while the same account in Acts of the Apostles chapter 15 is a mild different account in which Paul and the church elders reach a quiet and simple compromise on issues such as circumcision and Jewish laws for the Gentiles.

Acts of the Apostles is a latter written account to the Letter of Paul to the Galatians. It is more likely that Paul's account in Galatians is the real account of this story because it is an account of an incident in his own words to which he was a witness.
