Simple thing , you just deh blow grammar!

When has regulation become silencing ?

Na only criminals deh fear those rule and that's it .

Remain that Wike's boy trying to instigate Nigerians by recommending social media censorship and bans. What’s your name again—Olayinka Olalere?

Can you not see what is happening in Nepal? Nineteen young people already dead in protests, all because the government thought banning social media and disconnecting apps would silence the people. Instead, it set the whole nation on fire. Citizens came out en masse to remove the government and reinstate their constitutional rights.

Yet here you are, unelected, going around the media to sell unconstitutional ideas. Nigeria doesn’t need mouthpieces for authoritarianism. If history teaches anything, it is that silencing voices only amplifies resistance. Don’t drag us down that path.

Lol... Y'all will obviously never stop complaining about everything. It's always tribe to you. Yet when it favors you, you start shouting merit. Lol.

If the yoruba person merits it, should he/she not get the job?

The real question is:

When has an African President ever deemed it fit to resign or step down due to incompetence?!!

Paul Biya of Cameroon already plans to die in that office, effectively turning a democracy into a Monarchy.
Are you asking that question because you expect your own personal persons who are in the executive and legislative branches of your local, state and federal governments to resign or step down due to incompetence?

What have your LGA councillors done since 1999 to make them not resign all these 26 years huh

anonimi:
“The worst illiterate is the political illiterate, he doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak, nor participates in the political events.

He doesn’t know the cost of life, the price of the bean, of the fish, of the flour, of the rent, of the shoes and of the medicine, all depends on political decisions. The political illiterate is so stupid that he is proud and swells his chest saying that he hates politics.

The slowpoke doesn’t know that, from his political ignorance is born the prostitute, the abandoned child, and the worst thieves of all, the bad politician, corrupted and flunky of the national and multinational companies.”

Will they learn?

It's docile nigerians who can't rally with one voice I blame, if not who be politicians and their lackeys.

Olayinka Olalere didnt recommend outright ban of social media, he only said people should be mandated to attach their NIN to their social media accounts. So that everyone can take responsibility for whatever they post on social media instead of hiding under the anonymousness of social media to spew hate, peddle fake news and stuffs like that. And I support him 1000%

Are the Senators attaching their NIN to the money they collect from the federation account?
Are the Governors attaching their NIN to the billions they spend every month?
Is Wike attaching his NIN to all the land allocations he signs off in Abuja?

So why must ordinary citizens suddenly be forced to attach their NIN to everything? Where in the Constitution is it written that every opinion, every speech, every word online must be tied to state identification?

If leaders are not held to that same standard of transparency, then demanding it from citizens is not governance—it is control.

The president is supposed to thank him for offering his services and also wish him well in his future endeavours.

This letter sounds so distasteful.

Mr. Regulator, why is it always the citizens who must be regulated?

Who is regulating Yahaya Bello’s stolen funds?
Who is regulating the billions misappropriated by elected officials?

Why is it that the thief is the one now telling the farmer what kind of security he must put on his own farm?

Until those in power are held to the same standards they impose on the people, regulation is nothing more than hypocrisy in uniform.
