So why did he issue a written threat via his legal team to Deji ordering him to delete SM posts Deji made that were critical of him or face legal suit for defamation?

Didn't he also threaten to sue an online news platform that published his Yes Daddy Religious war tapes?

He even threatened to sue the woman and Lagos state that evicted him from her property in GRA, Lagos and so far he has failed to do so but instead is running to another court challenging the process of his eviction.

Finally, there's the time he went to court to stop the Anambra State govt constituted SARS Panel from inviting him to clear a petition against him by an individual whom Obi as governor ordered the demolition of his property and had him locked up for months in the dreaded James Nwafor Awkuzu SARS Division.

Your Obi forgot that he is no longer Lord Tormentor of Alambla and keeps issuing baseless threats in the fae of genuine and factual accusations but his lawyers will go ahead and prepare a writ to which they get paid but will later advise him to drop the suit.

he has never sued anyone,so who are the 72lawyers that have never lost a case until they met their master are the Supreme Court.

He was never going to sue Deji .

I believe he issued that threat via his lawyers to get Deji to delete those comments and to threaten anyone in future who posts negative things about him.

The fact that he rather threatened a civil suit instead of writing to the IGP a petition for criminal defamation says a lot.


If he goes down the route of criminal defamation, then Deji will compel the court to order the Police , EFCC, ICPC and NFIU to provide all case files , petitions relating to Obi as governor of Anambra in his defense and this will be more damaging to Obi.

A civil suit on the other hand will require Deji to seek an FOI request to get the information he needs to prove his statements.

As I said it is all an empty threat by Girigori to threaten not only Deji but anyone who will bring up his dirty past.
