The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved the appointment of Mrs. Nancy Sabanti Nathan as the Acting Head of Service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), News360 Nigeria reports.

The announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday by Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, who explained that Sabanti will serve in an acting capacity until a substantive Head of Service is appointed.

The position became vacant following the death of Mrs. Grace Adayilo, who passed away last Monday.

Until her appointment, Mrs Nancy Sabanti Nathan, was the Permanent Secretary, Youth Development Secretariat of the FCTA.

She had served as the Director Finance and Administration in the office of the Honourable Minister of FCT before her appointment as Permanent Secretary.

The appointment, according to the statement, takes immediate effect.

I told someone that Wike likes promoting someone heading finance department. Wicked under the table deal just like Fubara
