A lady has taken to social media to highlight the severe flooding currently affecting the main roads and the Maryland area in Lagos. She urged Lagosians to exercise caution if they plan to travel toward Maryland.

I really suffered this morning on my way to the local wing of the airport to pick my wife, a journey that should not take more than 30 minutes on a good day ended up taking me over 3 hours...all major roads were blocked with traffic, all alternative routes/short-cuts were blocked.

It was terrible!

This is very avoidable with better city planning and continously updating the environmental plan.

No matter the flooding in lagos give it 1hr max e go disappear ... Lagosians should just learn to be patient rush rush is not a must

For me it was exercise but for others it was like punishment.
