The creature with the two left legs should be ignored until his legs are straight. He does not deserve the attention. |

“At that time when the controversy came up and people were saying why yacht for the President? The Navy came forward and said it was a vessel they used for Naval operations that was named Presidential yacht and not for President Tinubu, so it’s not something that was purchased for luxury but you know in politics, you can bring up anything that is sensational.”what is this guy defending? what military operation is the nigerian navy using a yatch for? |

Pakute:The thing with Dino is this, he talks with the energy of a grown man but reasons like a teenager chasing attention. Instead of focusing on real issues like debt, spending, or fiscal gaps, he throws out childish lines like “Tinubu will borrow from Opay and Moniepoint.” Funny for social media, yes, but it adds nothing serious to the discussion. Abati may be over-defensive, but he’s right about one thing: Dino prefers loud soundbites over substance. That’s why people say he’s got the mouth of a senator but the brain of a child. Nigeria’s debt problem needs real analysis, not jokes that turn everything into drama. |

What's the difference between China and Opay? Borrowing money from China is like borrowing money from opay So Dino is relatively right 😜🤣 |

Reuben Abati is distinguishing himself by separating facts from fiction, from objectivity to subjectivity, from sheer partisanship to being apolitical. These are glaring qualities that Rufai Oseni lacks. He bullies his guests in a manner that suggests journalistic tyranny! His penchant for partisanship often leaves his guests in a quandary. Instead of presenting the topic and leaving it for the audience/members of the public to be the judge, he cantankerously takes sides just to prove some kind of wokeness. Rufai Oseni is a liability to Arise Television! @hotseat |

SDM was only being sarcastic. The statement indirectly meant that with the frequent borrowing by the government, it would degenerate to the point of going to borrow from Opay and Moniepoint. |

AMINDA:So to be truthful the person must condemn anything about Tinubu and support anything negative said against him wether truthful and sensible or not. When Abati joins in saying negative things about Tinubu then he's truthful but if he joins to point out the truth then he "is a rabid liar". Congratulations 👏🎉 |

Ruben Abati understood thr sarcasm in Dino's comments. He is just trying to position himself. We understand the parole. What he doesn't understand is that space is already fully occupied by Reno and Bwala. Dino could also have stretched the sarcasm by saying very soon the Tinubu government will start borrowing from market women and pomo sellers. He was simply highlighting the insatiable taste of the government for execessive borrowing and wasteful spending. |

AWONEYAN:Why should you take eb1lokan serious when: > he has increased revenue and achieved his 2025 target in August. > he is borrowing more money than previous presidents despite $84 billion subsidy savings that has made petrol and everything so expensive? Kiss the truth. TimeManager:Aug 28, 2023 The Federal Government says it has no intention to borrow from any local or foreign organisation with its removal of subsidy on petrol and exchange rate harmonisation. The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Chief Wale Edun, revealed this at the end of the inaugural Federal Executive Council meeting on Monday in Abuja. He said that the benefit of the subsidy removal would be ploughed back into various sectors aimed at boosting government revenue and improving the business environment for local and foreign investment. Edun said that with the increased revenue from subsidy removal, various palliatives have been made available to cushion its effect on a short, medium and long-term basis. He reiterated the President Bola Tinubu-led administration’s desire to bring back the economy from the wood it has found itself over time. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/08/fg-ends-borrowing-finance-minister/amp/ |

Paramount01:Why should he prioritise that from increased revenue that has created more hardship for us? Have you heard of Stockholm syndrome before ![]() chisomkachy:May 1, 2025 May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.” On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe. Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2025/05/may-day-hunger-unemployment-insecurity-real-tinubu/ |

spako4: BarrElChapo: Edoreborn: erad: OluwaBlessyn: Melagros: icn121: adamkkk: Jagabanfromcali:Dino may be sarcastic but I know how many OBIDIENTS will take it seriously and start peddling it as true. I stopped trusting the judgment of a region in Nigeria ever since they came up with the evil and malicious story that Buhari was dead and that a clone called Jubrin from Sudan was used to replace Buhari in the presidency. I remember how many Igbos argued that Buhari had long died. Also, the story that Tinubu is from Osun state started like a joke and now many Igbos continue to peddle it as true even though they know deep inside them that Tinubu is from Lagos Also, the story that Peter Obi won the 2023 presidential election but was rigged out was spread by Igbos even though they know it is not true and Obi never won the elections, they are still spreading that lie Also, the story that Igbos developed Lagos is not true, but Igbos keep peddling that lie knowing fully well that it is not true Also, the story of the January 1966 coup have been changed by the region that executed it and even tried to blame Awolowo for it. While Awolowo had no hand nor connection whatsoever in the coup. Also, the story that anyone not supporting Petr Obi has been massively paid by Tinubu is also a big lie but they keep spreading it |
