2027: North vs South – Who Will Control Nigeria’s Future?.

Nigeria is heating up ahead of the 2027 elections. INEC reports that the South now tops pre-registration of voters, while the North is mobilizing massively to secure dominance.

This raises tough questions:
- Is 2027 going to be another North vs South population war?
- Or will Nigerians finally choose competence, fairness, and justice over ethnic politics?
- What does this mean for Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, and Bola Tinubu?

In this video, we critically analyse the numbers, the strategies, and the dangers of reducing democracy to just ethnic arithmetic. The future of Nigeria may be at stake.

Share your thoughts in the comments — will the South’s energy defeat the North’s numbers in 2027?

Why South East leaders are not mobilizing voter registration is something that needs to be studied.

Why Nigerians are not pushing for electoral reforms is another thing that needs to be studied.

Why Tinubu supporters are the most hateful tribal bigots is the final puzzle that needs to be pieced together.

If you like mobilize…agitate for reforms… National Assembly will reject it and ban it like they do Natasha…

Islamist have in built majority whether you like it or not, and even the progressive ones like Kwankwaso no fit try any alliance out of fear from their side…

SE govs and their kin governors in places like Rivers only care about their family members… whether na kidney transplant or to give money to their gay children abroad (SOLUDO)… and re-election…

Finally, Naija no follow their own rules… if so you think say Tinubu go be President today?

You like to hate but you don't like to own up to it? You don't want to be associated with what you do? Other people own up to their sh** but Tilumbu supporters like to do evil and run away rather than stand by it. Is that why they call Tilumbu supporters cowards?

You’re the real coward cuz if you’re not, you would have added what I’m hating on, innit?

What you’re even tagging hatred is silly. There are more than 200 tribes in Nigeria. That your tribe is collecting wotowoto isn’t hatred - it’s called Energy return! Person wey show bad energy go receive bad energy in return..

You only get what you give!

If there was anything like 'one Nigeria', where the President comes from wouldn't be topic of discussion by now. The topic of discussion would be capacity, track record, integrity, etc

Nigeria still has a long way to go

There's an electoral reform bill on the floor of the House of Reps now. However, I am a bit disappointed that the opposition isn't getting seriously involved in the process to ensure the failings of the past elections are lawfully addressed.

Osita Chidoka's Athena Centre analysed the loopholes of the past elections and suggested means of addressing them. One would've expected the opposition parties to ensure that those recommendations are implemented in the ongoing reform bill.

Tomorrow, APC will take advantage of the current loopholes of the electoral law to rig election because that's what they know how to do best, and politicians will start going to court that cannot change anything. This whole thing is tiring.
