This current Nigerian super eagles is the worst ever team Nigeria as ever produced. Nigeria can hardly score goals anymore. This was evident in the last nations cup, they struggled to score all through. It is high time Nigerians accept reality that these players are highly mediocre including lookman and osimhen(even though they are clearly the best players in the team) Nigeria hardly has talent in football any more. Nigeria needs soul searching Nigerian men especially,it seems they are jinxed. is it some kind of repercussion for the terrible failure of a country they have created? Nigeria is not going to the world cup and will be eliminated in group stage at the afcon. |

okpouman:Na today this thing start? 10 years ago the same story… We keep upholding what Oyibo created and think something will change… Even the golden generation of Okocha, Amokachi, Oliseh, Siasia dem…look at the people that got involved in NFA/NFF… the same people that have kept the progressive people in Naija back… All the talk talk of Chelsea…Arsenal… quack EPL, yet we cant even have local teams like them… (see CHAN).. cant have good management like them FA… cant have serious coaches and opt for third hand bribe taking coaches…. Can’t have great players like them but want the “name” of average teams our players supposedly play for because it’s EPL…. Cant even take care of our players current or retired and when they pass like Rufai no one send message… What type of Negroes are we…. Same shyt different toilet… |

Apcshit:An ex footballer who is not a trained administrator will fail woefully. You need a capable administrator with plenty of integrity. football Administration and football playing are two different skill sets |

ARISHEM:Is it NFF that made them unable to score goals? The team is shambolic |

okpouman:. NFF are the ones that sack Rhor at the wrong time. NFF are the ones that refuse to increase Paseiro Salary after leading us to AFCON final. NFF are the ones that are always quick to appoint Eguavoen who are have failed us multiple times. Eberechi Eze once trained with the super eagles when Rhor was coach. After Rhor sack they say bye bye to him. The NFF are not doing much inviting quality foreign based players that show promises because they prefer local content that are amateurish. Why NFF are so much in love with local coaches when our players are not playing in the local league is what I don’t understand. One of the reasons Home based super eagles failed is because they replaced the local coach managing them and qualified them for the tournament for Eric Chelle and are expecting him to produce results. The moment I know NFF are not serious was when they included the amateur son of DSS Director into the Nigerian under 17 world cup team in 2021 despite the fact that he was not part of them in the qualifiers. All because of his fathers influence and also to save a department from corruption scrutiny. And yet they were expecting the coach to perform. |

ARISHEM:So you need eberechi eze before you can win Lesotho,Zimbabwe? You need rohr before you can keep a clean sheet against Zimbabwe? This super eagles are simply a mess |

okpouman:I watched the match and the t am were terrible, absolutely useless tactically and technically, they were second to many challenges, a lot of loose balls and very few instances of energy. The players looked lethargic and the management of the two games exposed that reality. Those guys had very little rest in between some long international travels. The NFF should have managed that better with the coaching staff. Plus a number of the players were evidently lacking fitness. Simon and Lookman especially showed an inability to dribble past their man one on one, their decision making was poor, Ndidi shouldn't have started the game. |

otipoju:Tell Samuel Eto or George Weah thar one |
| Re: Current Nigeria Super Eagles The Worst Ever by otipoju(m): 8:50pm On Sep 10, 2025 |
Apcshit:I hope you know that Goerge Weah had to go back to Devry University I USA to learn how to Administer before he was taken as a serious candidate. And Samuel Eto attended Sports Administration School in Lyon France and then attended Harvard in 2020. Both of them are highly educated with Eto specialized in Sports Administration I really don't like talking to willfully ignorant people. |

otipoju:And your tribalism means okocha and kanu has not acquired education? |
| Re: Current Nigeria Super Eagles The Worst Ever by otipoju(m): 2:49am On Sep 11, 2025 |
Apcshit:This one no get sense. It is a statement of fact. Okocha does not have the required training to be an administrator. If he was serious about it, he would have spent the time he is using to play football up amd down to aquire the necessary education just as he did with training to be a proffessional player. |

ARISHEM:Don't just stop the blame at NFF. Why has NFF been poor in managing football? Why is our local league so poor that no clubside has won any African competition in recent years? Why did Chan Eagles perform so poorly? This is the root cause: The system in Nigeria favours Nepotism, Tribalism & Religious sentiments ahead Meritocracy & Excellence. The best & most competent hands are never the ones in charge. Our poor performance in football is only a reflection of the poor & deteriorating state of most sectors in the country. Even if you decide to change the entire NFF, the system will still not allow the best & most competent hands to emerge. Same system that brought in the current set of mediocres will still bring in another set of mediocres. |

Na why I no dey bet or make football predictions on any Nigerian match. The current Super Eagle is not impressive compared to the Okocha, Kanu, and even Mikel Obi era. Who else is to blame, if not the NFF, that continues to overpay foreign coaches and select players based on who-knows-who. |
