The shallowness of the Nigerian mind is blinded by poverty. Many Nigerian think that because Mr eazi married a billionaire daughter that suddenly makes life easy for him and that means their wealth extends towards him. No.. No billionaire is leaving what they have built so that one man married to their daughter will come and destroy or inherit it. All the billionaire wealth is already protected by trust and shell companies and any man fantasing about getting a part of the wealth through marriage is dreaming. Yeah grand children might benefit but not the man, the husband will continue to prove what he is not until he gets exhausted. |

Don't generalize Nigerians to reflect your thought process. |

You are the shallow minded person here... Because Mr eazy is on record to have sold a digital record right to apple for a billion dollars. Plus dangote also acknowledged him owning businesses in 18 countries. This is aside his music career and association with billionaires. Dangote said he is an entrepreneur...its not everything he would say in public. But he knows his reasons for making that statement. Even musicians with less qualifications, connections and interactions have that much. Eazy just prefers to lay low and take things eazy...na why you dey look am less! |

brain54:You are the shallow minded here, that believes anything. Which digital company did he found and sold Where is the proof, I guess the proof is from Nigerian blog. Even if dangote says he has businesses in African countries, where is the proof.? Or are they just protecting his image.. You have no critical thinking skills but you call me shallow minded.. 😂😂 |

brain54:Likewise you got no proof but then say anything I see why it is so easy to scam Nigerians They are so impressed with perception rather than reality |

motymop:Eazy did a deal with apple... Worth a billion dollars and it's on the Internet. I don't need to post it for your lazy behind. If you want to post a topic do your research well before capping. What dangote said is there for you to see and believe or not. It's not up to anyone to convince you with documents! |

brain54:He has no deal with apple. the internet is your friend. He didnt sell any company claimed by bloggers and he is not a billionaire. I will help you do the research since you do not know how to use the internet. - info on crunchbase https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/vydia-inc/financial_details US Sec filings https://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?company=vydia&match=starts-with&filenum=&State=&Country=&SIC=&myowner=exclude&action=getcompany article from tech point https://techpoint.africa/insight/mr-eazi-vydia/

motymop:You're the one that's shallow minded here. You don't have to accept it but MAKING THE POST is enough to show your inferiority complex. Even Dangite said the young man is an Entrepreneur, LOYAL and has businesses in 17 or 18 African countries. NA POOR MAN DEY GET BUSINESSES FOR 18 African vompanies? Do you know what it means to oversee your businesses in one country alone? Managing human beings LIKE YOUR TYPE requires wisdom. |

motymop:Bad belle! It must be Biafran, always envy and hate others succeeding. Who argues with you on his billionaire status? Are you jealous or afraid? Dangote spoke about him and said mr Eazy has his companies in about 12 African nations. So,.someone with that is a thousand maire, right? |
| Re: In Africa, They Think MR Eazi Is A Billionaire. by ednut1(m): 1:51am On Sep 10, 2025 |
motymop:i used to think like this. Until i did a consulting engagement for a company owned by a billionaire. We worked from a desk near their boardroom and saw him and family often. The daughter married a doctor based in the USA. Guess what the guy moved back to Nigeria and started working for the man’s company as a management staff. Otedola’s son is autistic, his daughters are not business savvy. He only has his younger brother with him in this power plant. Dont be surprised if he grooms eazi to be a key partner/ manager in his business. Rich people are not stupid |

ednut1:The death of Herbert Wigwe is a real eye-opener on how wealth works in Nigeria. You could see extended families stepping in, trying to lay claim to assets. The same pattern played out with the Ibru family after their founder passed. Now, back to Otedola. Many don’t know he has a brother, Olurotimi, who is actively involved in running Geregu Power and holds major shares there. hat has already remove eazi from been groomed. (He also has an older step brother who was once a truck driver but now owns a farm.) What people often forget is that Otedola doesn’t actually build businesses. His strategy has always been to invest, take majority control, list on the stock exchange, then exit by selling his shares. He’s more of a trader than a builder, with zero emotional attachment to the companies he backs. But when you look deeper, family dynamics add another layer. In Africa, wealth created by one man is usually treated as “family wealth.” Naturally, billionaires in this position are very intentional about protecting their assets. Outsiders especially husbands married into the family are often excluded because they’re not seen as part of the core bloodline. |

Only Ednut replied logically. One up there even went tribal. It's hard to have a logical debate and conversation with most Nigerians. The Herbert Wigwe's example is a good one. The same as Ednut's experience. |

What part of lpobland are you from ? You do beta job masking your hate n bigotry unlike the regulars making noise across all social media platforms. Nonetheless, one can see tru your hate n bigotry. Like they say you can take the man out of the slum but you can not take the slum out of him. This is same way chronic hate n bigotry can not be taken out from the likes of Kanu Ekpa Obi etc motymop: |

motymop:Mr. Eazi is a venture capitalist. He invests in promising new companies. They are the type that invest in Facebook in its infancy. It is companies like that that many new startups go to for funding. You can say the investors on Shark Tank are venture capitalists. It won't therefore be strange if he has investments in 18 countries in Africa. That simply means he has invested in companies in 18 different African countries, most likely being startups. Do venture capitalist make money, or lots of money? Lets look at the music company sold for $1bn. It might have been worth $5m when it started. Please note that Mr. Eazi is a venture capitalist. He invests in other people's companies. He therefore does not own the music company. He is a shareholder! He might own 5 or 10% of the company. So the $1bn sale may net him $100m. He might have invested only $1m. Venture capitalist usually invest what they believe will be very fast growing companies. Just think of those who invested in Facebook, WhatsApp, Google and others when they were still very tiny, probably still working out of a garage? Those early investors today are billionaires. Mr. Eazi is on is way to becoming a billionaire in 10 years max the way he is going. That's why Dangote has lots of respect for him. He is investing his money wisely, rather than flaunting it doing big boy like Davido and others. I am certain Eazi hasn't made up to 10% of what Davido or Wizkid have made but he may be far richer than them. Also note that most venture capitalists usually have investors money. Investors might have given large amounts of money to invest for them. He could be controlling $500m on behalf of investors. If a deal goes through, he will own a percentage. Investors just need to have the confidence that you will grow their money. Don't be surprised if Dangote has $50m invested in his company. |
