You don't really need to gauge it, you just change it, the correct quantity is achieved when it over flows its fill hole.it will drip. This is filled up with same mechanism as grease gun.
For clearer understanding, the trans fluid has a cooler that exchange heat with water from your radiator. If this cooler is faulty it my result in water in transmission fluid or if blocked overheating of transmission fluid, Some unscrupulous mechanics in 9ja do a bypass and this messes your trans up. So have a reliable tech check all what I have just mentioned

Hmm. Just hope that this transmission oil change you are doing is not the beginning of your problems.

I also hope you are doing it with original Toyota WS transmission oil. Which the 4 liters can sells for around 100k or thereabout.

Your gearbox doesn’t have a dipstick to guage it and requires a stringent process to check the transmission fluid and also change it. ( basically though it has to get to a particular temp rating then they’ll loosen the drain bolt to check if tranny fluid flows out again it has to be at a particular temp very very important. If it flows then your tranny fluid level is fine you can check the colour to decide if it time for a change. Please it should be handled by a proper tech

Underneath the the iron sump there is a bot there....
Loosen the bot and put the car on or in drive if oil starts dropping from the hole then the oil level is okay...if not u need to top up more oil till u start seeing oil drop then u can put off the car and tighten back the sump bot...

Bro,the fault is from factory. Your rings are stuck in the rings groove due to carbon,so they cant expand. Get yourself a berry mans b12 chemtool and seafoam. Pour the seafoam inside the oul crankcase,half,then pour the rest half inside gas tank. The chemtool would have to be soaked into your plug wells for good 2days. Its a pretty less tedious process but rhe end result is back to factory. Do not ring your engine. Once your engine is opened by naija mechanic. Say bye to that engine. Ive done it on my friends camry and my own camry. It took about 8 starts b4 the engine started and when it did,cloud of smoke for like 20mins. After the 2nd day,the oul burning reduced to about 5%,tho the lubricants used cost arm and leg but end result.satisfaction.

The point is. Do you know how to change plugs or na mechanic. If na mechanic go do am.tellme now..cos e no go work and also ud need to have an extra battery or new battery because after every.your engine might take abt 6 to cranks b4 it starts.and if your ba3 no strong.2 cranks.ba3 don flat. Bad fuel in naija is what causes your piston rings from factory to seize and causing mad oil consumption..oil burn....blue smoke. but our quacks here wid quickly jump up and say ring engine ..change piston rings.in the process they wont torque the engine springs back to factory.ud now be experiencing overheating..timing chain or belt skipping. Oil burning after 2 months.etc. but the DIY procedure shuld be done every 6 months becos of fake fuel and fake engine oil

If you have money to change the entire AC system, then go for the Camry. Or if you are someone that doesn't care about AC, you can buy the Camry.

But if you are like me who cannot drive without ac, then pay attention to that ac needs gas.

AC system is a closed system. So even if car is parked for years, AC gas shouldn't leak out.

It's very simple, you alone will be the one to bear any expense or trouble should the car you decide to go for develops any issue. You also should be able to decide which one you find desirable from looks and driving impressions.

Well, to the OP, I will advice you first scan both cars if you can. Gas leak in AC doesn't just happen cos the car has been parked for long, AC system is a closed unit. The leak might be something so small like O-ring or valve change or might be a big problem like compressor.
Is the compressor picking up at all once you put on the AC?

Run a proper inspection before purchase... All the best!
