First one started I changed sensors and it still showed same code, I changed ecm and it showed lean codes. Pls anyone in Lagos that can fix this for me 2011 highlander 2gr
First question I'll ask is if your vehicle is moving very well.

You may want to check your fuel pressure and also check if you have vacuum or exhaust leaks

First check your oxygen sensor heater status if okay, then proceed to check voltage reading when engine is in operation under close loop. If reading are perfect, suspect your vehicle wiring from the sensor to the ECU. There might be some point without good electrical contact.

That is my take.

My Camry 2013 (4 cylinder) vibrates at around 40 to 80km/hr, changed the complete shaft and still no difference.

Recently it began stalling at 38/40k/hr for about a second and re-engage back

I scanned it and this is what came out.

Anyone knows?

You see that vibration, it's likely the torque converter.

That model of Camry has a factory defect that's called torque converter shudder.

And the only way to solve it is to change your torque converter. Or just continue to manage it like that. Or sell it and buy the V6 as the V6 doesn't have that defect.

Na why I no buy the car be that. I really loved the shape of the car, but I researched extensively. And saw it had that factory problem and ran away from the car. Now I'm enjoying my 2013 Corolla.

As for the other codes, you may need to clear the codes, drive around and scan again.

You can also use carb cleaner to clean your throttle body.

When my former car, a 2007 corolla was throwing up that same throttle code, cleaning the throttle body solved it. So it may work for you.

The other code there is for catalyst. And absence of catalyst shouldn't really make your car stall.

I doubt that milage is the original milage for a 2007 Accord.

How long have you been using the 20w50?

I have one, it doesn't require annual subscription. It is just a tool. Price varies depending on scanning capabilities. You can get the simple one for less than 15k, others could be upto 700k and above. Go to jumia and type ob2 scanner u will see them
Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by minista94(m): 5:25pm On Sep 19, 2025
Most of the obd2 scanner, you will have to subscribe annually for you to have access of later update.

I just need a good one with moderate price, that does not require annual subscription, some sub is not less than $25

Hello Guys, Please what kind of mainteneance tips should i expect on a GS350 08-010. Is the GS a reliable car? I realise it might be abit more costly mainteneance wise than the ES/IS. Is getting parts for it going to be frsutrating? Just need something more different from the regular Lexus Sedans.

GS is okay though the parts can be more than Es but on par with IS
My main issue with the car is rewire issues
And steering rack issues
The steering is electric and can be very frustrating

Get the highlander. But since you are concerned about fueling costs, you can get the four cylinder of the car.

Since the road in your area is not good, the Camry may be a bad option for you as it has low ground clearance.

But if you decide to get the Camry, avoid the four cylinder version. It has a factory error that makes the torque converter to shudder at a certain speed. You can go for the six cylinder.

The ball remains in your court.
