Nigeria underscores the primacy of respecting the sovereignty of all nations and adhering to international law, particularly in matters involving the use of force across borders. This development raises serious questions about regional stability and the prospects for ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Nigeria acknowledges Qatar’s longstanding role in fostering dialogue and mediation in the region. In this context, Nigeria urges all parties to exercise maximum restraint, avoid escalation and recommit to peaceful engagement.

We extend our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the incident and reiterate our unwavering support for initiatives that promote de-escalation, dialogue, and durable peace.

I beg Nigeria shouldn't look at that side or better advise Quatar to chase away all the hamas terrorists hiding there because they found the place to be more conducive under pretence of endless negotiation. For how long will the negotiation last since years, Hamas leaders and Quatar are playing hide and seek games with Hamas hiding in their domains.

If Qatar is serious with negotiation; two or three times negotiation are enough for Hamas to have released all the hostages since oct 7; and if the Hamas refused, then send them.out of your countries. Instead Qatar is only busy accommodating Hamas leaders, feeding them and give them much freedom to move around under pretence of being sovereign nation negotiator. We thank you for your negotiation, but since Hamas leaders keep using delay tactics, send them out of your country if truly you are serious
