'Learn From Libya’ – Seyi Law Warns People Celebrating Nepal Protest by Maxymilliano(op): 8:27am On Sep 11, 2025
Seyi Law, the comedian, has cautioned people celebrating the ongoing violent protests in Nepal against romanticising foreign revolutions without considering their devastating consequences.

The unrest in the South Asian country erupted after the government’s brief attempt to ban social media, which ignited deeper public fury over widespread corruption, political nepotism, and economic stagnation.

The protests have since turned violent, with demonstrators attacking and vandalising the homes of political leaders.

In a‏n X post on Wednesday, Seyi criticised the tendency to glorify such uprisings, pointing to the disastrous outcome in Libya as a stark lesson.

The comedian argued that these movements often lead to regret and unforeseen chaos, far removed from the jubilant images shared online.

They are happy about Nepal until rebuilding becomes a problem. They will never learn from Libya. They think revolution won’t affect the politicians they love,” he wrote.

eep fanning what you can’t sustain and remember to start in your region. They will show you burnt buildings and politicians beaten, but they won’t tell you that Nepaleses are regretting now.

Iconic structures have been destroyed, criminals escaped, women raped and their properties looted. They’re already claiming the protest was hijacked. Like Gehgeh, had I know is the last comment of a fool.”

Rabi Laxmi Chitrakar, wife of Jhalanath Khanal, a former prime minister of Nepal, died after protesters set their home ablaze in Kathmandu.

At least 22 people have now been killed since the unrest began on Monday, with over 300 injured.

They celebrated Kenyan protest but what happened at the end of the day?, they celebrated military coups in neighbouring Africa, what happened after that?. More than a dozen youth were killed in the Nepal protest but Obidients were celebrating grin. These same Obidients that were hiding under their bed during the #Endbadgovernance protest grin
No matter how much evil they wish on the country, that fraud they are packaging will never become the President of our dear nation Nigeria.

So, people should not fight for their rights because of Libya, abi?

The leaders should be the ones to learn from Nepal
Re: 'Learn From Libya’ – Seyi Law Warns People Celebrating Nepal Protest by helinues: 9:07am On Sep 11, 2025
We are not even going to allow such protest in Nigeria.

The Kenya which some people said we should emulate their Gen Z, only if they have an idea about what ended the protest

This is the most important part of the message. The sit at home is how many years now?, as long as you don't bring any protest or any sit at home beyond your region, there won't be problems.
We remember last year protest, they pulled out and said they weren't part of it but they will always go online to add petrol to the situation. That's their Modus Operandi.

Seyi Aletilo, shouldn't advise on what to do. They know their politicians gangs are make life unbearable. You can't beat a child and expect him not to cry. grin grin grin grin grin

It’s simple. Do not preach against people protesting.

Just tell them to start in their region. I would love a protest and revolution that will ensure that Agulu Obi is erased totally to atone for his many sins against his own people especially the dreaded Awkusu massakaa.

If their revolution will take our 99% of their leaders, it is welcome by me.

I wept when Gaddafi was overthrown.

I knew that Libya was gone but western media and brainswashed folks rejoiced. The CIA operatives sent to lead the protest all returned to France where they reside.

Today Libyans are being sold in slave markets, The country gone to the militia with the largest weapon.

A country with no debt foreign debt, free scholarship up till university, met some Libyans scholling abroad then...all expenses paid by their government and boom the revolutionary came with the illusion of freedom....well now they are lamenting wishing the good old days will return but it may never come.

The Ibos led revolution in Nigeria under Ojukwu today SE is the least developed in Nigeria. Ibos largely avoid going home now they stay in Abuja or Lagos for their homecoming because they fell for another revolutionary (Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa).

Anyone wanting to protest should start from their own state of origin. If you want to destroy things go to your state and destroy infrastructure to show your grievance.

The Nepalese clip of a young imperialist shared by millions is youths advocating for Monarchy and rejecting elections. Some people are rejoicing over what they do not understand and now Nepal will be crossed out from the list of most tourists and foreign investors

These supporters of oppressors would rather want suffering citizens to continue to suffer that revolt or fight for what is legally theirs from the hands of their oppressors.

Always using warped prismatic worldview narrative just to justified evil. The Aba Women riot of 1934 arouse the need to fight for freedom from the oppressive colonial masters. Herbert Macaulay, Anthony Enahoro, Nnamdi Azikwe, Obafemi Awolowo and other picked it up.

The inglorious Babangida and Abacha era saw Yorubas caving in to the attendant reigne of terror. Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe choose to honorably resign his commission than to be part of IBB govt of oppression. Gen Diya stayed on with Abacha evil. When Abacha bared his fangs, Ukiwe, Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu joined NADECO to fight him while Tinubu fled to Chicago Illinois to start Heroin drug running.

The #EndSARS protests were started by Yorubas (@Segalinks, @ who later backed out of cowardice but some Yorubas(@Falz, @mrmacaroni etc) and non-Yorubas of conscience who saw the need to fight for justice drove it on. People were massacred but denials met undeniable evidence.

This was the same cowardice mentality that made the Fulani people to over-run Kwara state and took ownership of the state forever.

Everyone Nigerian has the constitutional cover to live, associate and protest against injustice and oppression irrespective of his location.

The opposite can only happen if the constitution have allowed regionalism or the contraption have been disintegrated into sovereign entities. If that has not happened, then STFU.
Re: 'Learn From Libya’ – Seyi Law Warns People Celebrating Nepal Protest by franchasng:
Tinubu should rather learn from leaders that used anti people policies to push the citizens to the edge.

Maybe Tinubu's inhumane tax law and other of his wicked policies in the name of increasing government revenue away from crude oil will be the final straw that will break the camel's back and boom, Baba Sope the Lagos landlord will get that people's revolt he has been asking for, just maybe, time will tell.

So Seyi Law abi Seyi Court, don't worry, don't advice Tinubu to reverse his anti people policies, be there trying to gaslight and scare Nigerians with references, e go shock una shocked

A united nationwide protest would be difficult in Nigeria. Will always be difficult for the major ethnic Nationalities to unite in protests.

Reason why our leaders are so docile, and masses always Suffering & Smiling.

Nigerians have no common goals and aspirations, tribalism, religion has held the people in shackles, the people must change their mentality, otherwise revolution will only bring more problems for the poor.

This man is really cashing out from this government. He is afraid his source of income will be stopped. How greedy can some people be. They know this government is making life difficult for the masses but they continue to support just for their selfish gains.

Those people who voted bad leaders, were they sleeping when they were voting and defending them?

Please learn how to treat your mess and stop asking the obedient people to assist you after hyping your mess before election.

I think the protesters in Nepal have gone overboard. Destroying state infrastructure even after toppling the government is insane! Soon they will become another Haiti with gangs ruling pockets of territories.

Once goal is achieved, any further destruction must be discouraged and discontinued. They are heading towards irreversible chaos as things stand.
