I am not surprised. My lodge was in the hospital quarters during service year. Some hospital used rechargeable lamp to do stitches. They plastered the outer wall of the hospital without plastering the inner walls of the hospital so that they will show the people that the government is working.

Northerners don't value life.

If u are poor 80years ago in the north,u will surely be poor in the same north for God knows when.

Northerners don't have regards for poor people and that explains why u can't see where a poor guy is marrying a rich man's daughter.

The picture u are seeing there is a clear example of how poor people are treated in the entire north.

A visit would clear ur mind. That is why their poor men and women are runing down south for succour.

It was in the north that I saw a politician bought a trailer of indomie and this indomie was shared to a multitude of people(poor) i was shocked to see how they were praying for this man who didnt just cheated them all but neglected them like the state govt is doing now.

For me,this is a normal thing here in the North.

The hospital didn't come to existence the same day the journalist discovered it, it has been there and people within the environment knows about it but they probably feel ok with and that's why all of them felt undisturbed by the level of the decay. The leaders at all levels in the State recognizes them as animals and regards them as though animals, but if you call them animals or zoo inhabitants they pick offence.

There can NEVER be a revolution in Nigeria due to ethnoreligious differences.
Take this to the CBN.

They said creation of more states will bring development to the grassroots but we can see clearly now that reversed is the case yet we're still clamoring for more states. Many states are supposed be merged together, they are unsustainable..State creation is more or less like creating political offices for politicians.

The picture is very real. The journalist who reported it has been arrested on the directive of the governor.

I pity those who still have hope that Nigeria will improve for the better.

I woke up from that delusion in 2003 and I have not been proven wrong.

We can whine and complain all you like but nothing will change. It's people are very religious but morally bankrupt.

Nigerians worship God with their mouth but their hearts are very far from him with very very very few exceptions.

When you go abroad,even just a visit,where things work and there is accountability.Life is made to be possible,things are done with possibilities not sacrifices where someone will think they are doing you a favor.When you see all these things surely you will know leadership in Nigeria vis a vis Africa is evil.

It would be interesting to know how many of those patients voted for the Governor. ...and will vote for him again. The FG needs to stop allocating monies without accountability ....but greedy will not make that possible. Only a coup can make a change for the better .... or a bit worse.

Why try to save those who don't want to be saved?

Does it look like Nigerians care about their well-being?

They see politics as English Premier league a la our team vs their team (Arsenal vs Man Utd) instead of focusing on their interests. So why bother? When the governor arrives Kebbi, they will throng out to welcome him in jubilation.

A country where someone will drive the bad roads from Auchi- Abuja, survive threats of kidnappers, arrive Abuja only to announce that APC government is doing a wonderful job. How can anyone feel for such people?

Kebbi has a budget of 508 billion naira. It's very low. Too low. Health gets 27 billion naira.
