Alhamdulilah. I thank God personally. Last year 2024. I was working with a company (AMAECOM) as a marketing staff. Salary was base on marketing performance. I think I earned an average of 50k monthly. The. Casually I opened a POS BUSINESS. To support my income. But the business was stressing to manage especially as I'm all occupied with the company work. Had to respond to complains by my attendant steady. And my manager was not okay with my divided attention. So In order to be free from that. I resigned to face squarely the POS business. At least if I give it my time. I would earn better than my salary. That's how that resignation was the best decision I made in the whole of 2024.

With my POS business. I started earning earlier an average of 3k daily. That's 90k monthly. And I grew consistently. I could boost of 5k daily. Now I make roughly 7k daily. Adding other services. Like Data sales. And that's just average. Cos on good days. I earn 10k
No weekends. No rest. The income was strictly my fuel and motivation

My current level of growth so far Was never imagined. Day in day out. I just got to be figuring things out. And here I am now.

I own a shop,I sell phone accessories, charge people's phones, POS, sells Button phones, minerals and recently added SIM sales. There are too many competitors around me now compared to when I started so it's really tough and time-consuming.
give me a range of how much you make in a week,I mean the net profit(the profit that's your own that you can spend without investing it back in the business(you don't have to drop the exact figure, just the range, something like xx to xx thousand everyweek).please I look forward to your reply.

All that money is about to be taken by eb1lokan, the tax-net widening guru, who unfortunately is clueless and incompetent about having well paid civil servants to provide government services and utilities.

Presumptive taxation will be targeted at informal sector earners with no reliable income records. Income will be taxable under a framework to be prescribed by the Minister.

Most of them are owing different debt that they are never ready to pay back, they owe all the loan apps and they are always proud of their debt profiles. If you mistakenly lend them money then forget about such money cos they won't pay back.

Isn't this completely off the point?

The question is about how non-salary earners have been surviving in Nigeria

Even as a good salary earner, I still do not relent on my consulting side hustle.

I am trying to expand into more service areas as we speak.

No retreat, No surrender. Onward Together.

Am a salary earner who works from home, the company is not in Nigeria.....

The salary is huge and i don't have people I give it to, so that is one huge advantage for me, I don't have a wife or kids, and I don't choose to have..... I love how naira is useless in this country, because my salary when converted to Nigeria naira, you go know say something drop.....

If you are a single man and you have something you are doing that gives you money, whether non-salary earners or salary earners you will have peace of mind, suffering won't be there for you....
