Christianity has blessed Nigerian preachers. Some of the world's most influential preachers are Nigerians. These men of God can easily shut down an entire city (outside Nigeria) they visit anywhere in the world.

The likes of Jerry Eze, Joshua Selman, Johnson Suleman, Femi Lazarus, Ebuka Obi, etc. are leveraging social media to take the place of the ageing institutional preachers.
So these blessings are in the form of financial profit made from these platforms through the gospel?

Sometimes I don't know how some of yhu actually exist with this levels of bitterness against people doing well for themselves.

Yhu kick against offerings, tithe and now it's a bad thing to have a YouTube account monitized?
It just shows how envious some Nigerians are when they see someone doing well financially.

Yhu will be happy if he was poor and struggling to survive abi?

Purge yhurself of the bitterness so that yhu can have a meaningful life.

Better still, do yhur worse if it pains yhu!
Are you saying that the gospel ought to be monetized for financial profit?

If you think creating a prayer channel on YouTube is easy, start yours too. Na that time you will know that you need God's favor. So, go and start yours ooo. If you think this one is a pastorpreneur.

God is a way finder. By the way, this is a revenue that comes without tithes payment. Is this not beautiful? This is the kind of pastors I like to follow. Not all those tithes seekers. By the way, I also don't follow those deceivers.

You also can tap into his breakthrough by creating something to sell online.

God bless him.
So the gospel is suppose to be monetize for financial profit?

In my view, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with Pastor Jerry earning from YouTube monetization. After all, YouTube will still run ads on the NSPPD channel’s videos whether the channel is monetized or not—so it’s better that the channel itself benefits.

He prays, and viewers receive their miracles—not because of him alone, but because of their faith. And importantly, the viewers aren’t paying tithes or offerings; the only cost on their side is their internet data. So really, it’s a win-win situation for everyone.
So when has the gospel become a tool that we use to convert revenue?

Kindly explain the verse

2 Corinthians 2:17.

New International Version
Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God

Christian Standard Bible
For we do not market the word of God for profit like so many. On the contrary, we speak with sincerity in Christ, as from God and before God

Contemporary English Version
A lot of people try to get rich from preaching God's message. But we are God's sincere messengers, and by the power of Christ we speak our message with God as our witness

In my own Bible, I took note of the word "peddle". And I checked the original meaning, and here it is: to retail and adulterate. And the second part now says....profit. Meaning: Do not adulterate the gospel for profit. You will need to start looking at the ways to adultery the gospel. 1. Deceiving people to pay tithes to enrich yourself. 2. Always collecting money from them directly. 3. Performing fake miracles. And so on.

But Mr Jerry prayed free of charge. I am not sure he asked for money on his platform, and if he does, we will need to find out how the money is spent. But in this discuss here, we are talking about his earnings from YouTube. So, he collected money from a platform for preaching free. The people he prayed for got everything free. But God blessed him so that someone else who doesn't even ask for his prayers pay him for using his platform. And you call it a bad profit from deception. Lol.

So, explain how this kind of way is a deceptive gospel for profit. Explain how praying for people without asking them money is a bad gospel. When you can prove that, then, you can move into profit.

But you read the verse, and you automatically say that all Chrisitians should not keep rewards from preaching. It means, when I preach freely, and someone gives me food for refreshment, I must reject it too. Lol. Cos that is profit. The cost of my launch is saved which is a profit for me. So, when I preach somewhere and people see the hand of God, and they come to bless me, I should throw everything away. Right? Like the way Paul threw everything away. And like the way your jesus threw everything away that he didn't even accept the gift of food and refreshments from people.

Una need to understand the Bible ooo. I don't argue my faith with people because it is baseless. He who will not listen will not. And I am not ready to debate cos it doesn't convert. All I wish you is the best in life. And I see you attacking everyone here.

If you decide to preach your gospel and remain poor, that's you. And I wish you well.

God bless!

So Mr Jerry does not have a business contract with YouTube for financial profit while he claims to pray free of charge for people, Is that the same as someone willingly gifting you things because they appreciate you for preaching?

I don't want to argue with you because that is what your kind do, but did you read the part where I explained "bad gospel" for profit and deception is what the verse you brought up is about? That's crystal clear.

I will recommend Joshua 1:8. Read this part. Sit down with the verse you brought here and check my explanation. Meditate on it and ask the Holy Spirit to minister to you. Do you need a verse I can show you that the Holy Spirit can help you understand better? If you do, I am glad to show you like 2 or 3 verses.

Don't argue. Go back to that 2. Cor. 2:17 and meditate on it well. Read my explanation again, and just stop being too attacking.

You gain absolutely nothing by attacking everyone here.

What you need to do: You need to show that Mr Jerry had a deceptive gospel arrangement to make profit. If you do that, then, Mr. Jerry is wrong. No be you brought out the verse that I analysed? Or you want to disagree with my analysis ans show me that I am wrong?

Neither did you show that my analysis was wrong, nor show that Mr. Jerry deceived his followers to male profit...yet, you are still arguing.

Finally, meditation will take you some days or weeks, so, I dont expect you to understand it all tofay. But I need tondo something for me now. So, in your mind, could you tell me what you would advise him to do with the profit from YouTube? Let me just know your mind.

So if the gospel is good, then it is ok for Mr Jerry to have a business contract with YouTube for his financial profit while he claims to pray free of charge for people?

You certainly don't know the difference between a gift, a reward, and a profit?

And you still don't know a bad gospel. A bad gospel according to that verse is a gospel of deception to make profit. To show it is a bad gospel, you need to show the deception in the gospel. Where is the lie? Did he lie to collect tithe? Did he do a fake miracle? Did he sell to them a holy water or perfume or handkerchief?

Pls, answer these questions. If you don't answer them, I won't reply you again cos you just want to debate. Apparently, you have ignored Jos 1.8. And I'm not ready to argue with you. This is the last chance you have to have something meaningful from me. As soon as you divert from answering those questions, I will mark your moniker. In the future, even you mention me...I will ignore anything and everything from you. Let's see.
