Pilot crew are the worst in drug.
When they step on the foot of aircraft alone you will notice that they're not normal in most cases.
Am an aircraft engineer and have released many aircraft for flight this is what have experienced most times.
Adequate check up for drug test is needed for flying crew.

Government should sanction airpeace, we have other airlines about 5, if airpeace go off air there won't be crises.

An ardent and avid smoker/drunk should know how long these substances lasts in the body so as to keep clean before being put in charge of people's lives.

Nigeria my beloved country.
I remember a time I had to travel by Ekeson night bus.
The driver just arrived from a journey , the vehicle had kept him on the road much longer and he was to drive again to Abuja without having to sleep. I confirm if he was the same person that will drive without a sleep, the conductor said yes that I shouldn't worry that the driver "na baba"
Moment later when our luggage were being loaded I saw the driver in a corner with a bottle of alcoholic drink and sniffing something wrapped in a paper.
To cut the long story short, he drove us to Abuja safely. During stoppage I see him bring out his pappee and sniffing his powder.
I must confess his driving was calm, no overspending and safety cautious

This a clear and obvious attempt by the journalist to taint the image of Airpeace for his own agenda.

I read the actual report about the investigation and it clearly implied that the major cause of the incident was unstable approach which is likely referring to weather or strong windy conditions.

The report said alcohol was detected in both pilots and that one other crew member tested positive for THC one of main active components in cannabis.

Report did not say that the level of alcohol in the pilots' bodies were too high for them to operate an aircraft;

In fact in the recommendations the report made to Airpeace alcohol and drugs were not explicitly mentioned it was the devious journalist that insert the words "alcohol and drugs".
There was no where in the press release where it was alleged that there had been a serious breach of aviation safety and professionalism, the journalist had inserted those words themselves.

No matter how they try to bring down Ibom Air they'll never succeed. Instead of them to do what Ibom Air is doing that's making pple trust them they resort to paying pple to blackmail the airline thinking it'll make pple boycott them.

Alcohol consumption in Nigeria is equated to Just taking a refreshment and the blood Alcohol contents of vehicle drivers are hardly tested while on the roads.
In some countries where Alcohol tests are randomly carried out on drivers, the awareness is created that alcohol is a toxic substance, there are penalties for having varying concentration of alcohol in the blood while driving.

Since no such controlls or awareness in Nigeria, reason why the pilots took flying with alcohol in their blood for granted.

And I don't blame you people, if any of your relatives has ever experienced the consequences of pilots recklessness (God forbid), you would not be saying this!

Or imagine that you were among the passengers on that particular plane and then outcome of investigation now reveals that the pilot was drunk at the time, I hope you would commend the pilot for touching down at a quarter to the end of the runway while under the influence of alcohol (risking your life as well as that of your fellow passengers in the process).

Air Peace should be made to sanction any of their pilots flying their planes under such circumstances. They're are carrying innocent lives on board. If they can't value their own lives, they should, at least, value the lives of those on board who trusted them with their lives.

I hate rubbish.
