Both will have their hands full in near future with Madueke ( who has been best player on the pitch today) and Mosquera 🌝🌝

You are right, Ethan can get lost sometimes especially if middle is crowded and Merino na "Agba ghoster" for midfield... His man has shifted him (Merino) go front
I dunno what the advantage is right now of Merino in midfield other than he is familiar with Zubi😂

I hope Ethan gets his counter moments cos this team get am well for body but we dey kill am ourselves with little resistance. Looks like Zubi will score more than his career total at Arsenal this season at this rate.
Im happy we did this without the presence of some key regulars. This is the beauty of Squad depth. Better selection headache than tactical headache

That guys decision making is below 20/100 at this rate. Why Rice wan give am assist sef when e go las las waste am?

If na this ugly football go dey give us 3 points every MDs, I'll take it. Those Ojuelegba pundits can keep their opinions to themselves.

Few months back, I said Nwaneri still needs to work on some things. Back then, he rarely drop deep to build up play and when he did drop deep, he would casually play the ball safe and run to the final third. However, I must admit that he has really developed his game. I'm truly impressed mehn. Those moments where he goes gimme that ball, lemme do something is exactly what I'm talking about. In addition, I like how he has worked on his physicality. Now, you can't bully him off the ball.

Dowman would have done better jare. Or maybe he needs someone to assist Timber which to me doesn't make sense cos Timber na one quiet engine. He turn one Forrest guy like Amala during the game, I shouted.

Couple of seasons back, these two guys not available automatically means we might draw or lose. Anything win na miracle.

Can they just call Edu to office today and sack him officially.

Imagine last season with Saka and Saliba looking and Ode going down; leaving the pitch... Panic attack for don kee person grin grin

For Ethan, it will come with more game time and Merino is a very good player alas just too slow for EPL

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, speaking to TNT Sports: "Very good after the international break. When the players have been away, it's always a question mark how they're going to react and connect again.

"To win 3-0, another clean sheet is very important. Some of the players were starting for the first time so, overall, very good."

On Martin Zubimendi: "Unbelievable, two very difficult goals in terms of execution. He's come into the club and you feel a real presence, a real authority with everything he does on the pitch.

"If he adds to that with goals then what more can we ask?"

On the front three: "I think they were very good, all three of them. With their own qualities but complementing each other really well. Noni was outstanding again, he looks a real threat. Viktor was very intelligent, he could have scored two or three, and Ebs offers something different, a different kind of flow and very unpredictable as well."

On tough choices in future selections: "This is what we want. When you look at other teams and the squads they have built, we all have the same. You want to be competing at the very highest level.

"We've lost Kai [Havertz] already for three of four months, Bukayo [Saka] for a few weeks and you need replacements. In the Premier League, it is so tough."

On Odegaard injury: "It's the same shoulder. He was uncomfortable to continue. That's a shame because he played with the national team and was feeling good.

"He'll do everything to be involved midweek but I don't know."
You see this man, fear him

The number of Chelsea fans hoping for Madueke to flop eh... Just so they can justify their I told you so agenda.

Madueke did his bit today. He tried even though there are still one or two question marks somewhere but he can only get better.

Like he's putting his players on the line now, the last time it was Eze
He's indirectly saying why did odegaard play the whole of international match and still get injured playing for arsenal
Omo this season go long for our players, he won't take prisoners

Injury is normal in football, but blaming them indirectly for it is something else

In the starting line up today, 5 were players signed in this window. That's 5/11.

What this means is that, the team was a mess in the past two seasons.

Injuries would have equally ended hopes of a title challenge this year and it did in the past three and we would have been singing the same lamentation songs and calling for the manager's head.

Whereas in reality, the people we are supposed to be calling out are the owners.
