Pakistan’s representative to the United Nations slammed Israel during a Security Council session on Thursday, accusing it of violating international law while pretending to be a victim.

“It is unacceptable, indeed ludicrous, for an aggressor, an occupier, a serial violator of UN charter and international law – that is Israel – to abuse this chamber and disrespect the sanctity of this council,” Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad said.

He added: “It is an occupier that does not listen to anyone, that does not pay heed to any advice, even from its friends, if there are any left. That refutes, and not just refutes, it threatens members of the international community, international media, international human rights and humanitarian organizations… and threatens the UN and its senior officials.”

The Pakistani representative also accused Israel of acting “with impunity, shielded by its apologists who time and again, eques in its illegal actions and defiance of the international community.”

He then compared Israel to “all occupiers” who “despite being the aggressor, it feigns and plays the victim.”

Ahmad made his speech in response to Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon comparing Israel’s attack on Doha to the 2011 US Navy SEALs special operation in Pakistan that led to the killing of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

“When bin Laden was eliminated in Pakistan, the question asked was not, ‘Why target a terrorist on foreign soil?’,” Danon said during the UNSC meeting.

The exchange took place during an emergency meeting to discuss Israel’s strike in Doha on Tuesday, which Israel claims targeted Hamas leaders but resulted in civilian casualties. Later in the session, the Council adopted a statement condemning the strike and expressing support for Qatar’s sovereignty and its role as mediator in negotiations over Gaza.

They messed up big time with that Qatar ,DOHA strike. Everybody sees Iran what Iran was concerned about now. They also threw 20-30 years of USA diplomacy in the Middle east under the bus. Now Doha is also building an alliance with all the GCC, and i am sure they will also build with Hamas, hezebollah, houthis...because they don't trust the USA will stand up for them against Israel. So they need new friends ASAP. Which further makes Israel a pariah state both at home and internationally. Netenyahu is the worst diplomat Israel has. Only stupidity can make Quatar try to respond to Israel by seeking support of other Arab countries. Quatar that is not up to 3million population should better trek carefully and never allow Satan to to push them to revenge.

Quatar that has been playing hide and seek game all these while feeding terrorist leaders, housing terrorist leaders and financing them under pretence of unending endless negotiation. Quatar should send terrorist leaders away; one or two discussion with them is enough to have freed all hostages since Oct7 . What are they negotiating since then? Even from the way Quatar is now making noise of retaliation and calling Arabs for response to Israel; you will see her own side of wickedness and hatred of isreal. She should try not to retaliate or summon other Arab to retaliate for her and others not to regret their actions

The same qatar that was blacklisted by the UAE, Saudi and other middile east state for sponsoring terrorism. Even qatar airways even Aljazeera were all banned.

Something you should understand. Iran is getting it wrong again. Successful middle eastern countries want peace. Qatar themselves haf recently told hamas to leave.
