It has been several days now and my prepaid meter has been reading negative. Despite spending a lot to restore it to positive, it keeps dropping back into negative.

I even paid a NEPA (IKEDC) staff who was the only one available when I lodged a complaint on Saturday, but nothing has been resolved.

This situation is really frustrating, especially as the negative units are increasing so quickly.

Please, I really need your assistance

I have even tried to bring the negative reading back to positive at some point, however due to how it increases so fast, it took me back to negative.

Take the meter physically to your disco.

When they see a physical meter. They'll find solution.

The first thing is to know if the reading is correct.

Does your actual consumption corresponds with the reading?

If it does, you probably have to keep recharging whenever it's negative.

Mine is not reading negative. It keeps reading whether or not there are appliances switched on in the house. It's frustrating. A token of #1k doesn't last from night till morning with only my ox plastic fan on
