What exactly is the order that the governor has given? Has he ordered for the monarch to be replaced or has he ordered for the monarch to be set free or has he ordered for the monarch to rule from the prison?

The media will just dish out one vague and meaningless statement to waste readers' time and data. The worst part is that this report is coming from a certified media house. I was reading it, hoping to know what the governor wants in the situation. I read to the end without seeing anything.
It is disgusting to read Nigeria media news online this days, I skim through this days. Reading them is a waste of time.

Ooni of Ife was lingered for real estate scam. Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ) detailed how the Ooni's real estate companies collected billions of naira for properties that were never delivered, leaving investors without a house or a refund.

Adeleke was said to have instructed the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to take action on the jailed monarch, amid calls by some of the natives of Ipetumodu for the replacement of the vacant stool.
So, does this make sense to you? Take action on a monarch jailed in the US? What action can they take on a Monach jailed in the US? Shame on The Guardian for such poor reporting.

The governor has pretty much made a good call. It is the responsibility of the Commissioner for LG & Chieftaincy Affairs to wade into the situation and make recommendation to the state governor. He's failed to that since the beginning and this is the governor prompting him to do his job.

I always said it here most times that it’s usually half baked journalism,. The readers don’t know the order given by the governor, this is the same forum that will tell you to write 40 or more characters for the forum to be interesting 🤭😂

So, the governor has ordered the Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to order the governor?

You are even the one bringing the narrative here because the report does not say exactly what the governor wants the Local Government and Chieftaincy Affirs to do.
