Rhapsody of Realities by Pastor Chris. Sun Sep 14 2025 IN CHRIST, THE PROMISES HAVE BEEN FULFILLED For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us (2 Corinthians 1:20). God’s promises are not uncertain or pending. In Christ, every promise God ever made has already been fulfilled. You don’t need to beg, wait, or wonder, because in Him, the answer is “Yes” and the confirmation is “Amen!” Hallelujah! Imagine all the beautiful promises of the Old Testament, the entire blessings of Abraham— they’ve all been fulfilled in Christ. Now that you’re in Christ, you’ve possessed the blessings. You’ve received the promise of the Spirit and the fullness of divine life. 2 Peter 1:3 tells us that His divine power has “…given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” Every blessing you can ever imagine, anything good that you can ever contemplate in Christ Jesus, they’re already your present hour possessions. Sadly, due to their ignorance of this reality, some Christians live as though they’re still trying to obtain what God has already given to them. They pray and cry for what they should simply acknowledge and receive by faith. You were born into an incorruptible inheritance. All things are yours now: “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours; Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21-22). The Word says, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32). This means nothing is withheld from you. God gave you His best, the Lord Jesus. Along with Him, He freely gave you everything: eternal life, righteousness, divine health, prosperity, wisdom, victory, etc. It’s time to stop “seeking” and start walking in the blessings. Enjoy your inheritance in Christ. Declare, “All things are mine. All blessings and divine favours are mine, and I enjoy them in real-time.” If it’s written in the Word, then it’s already yours. Take possession with your words. Rejoice like one who has received. Act like one who has inherited the blessings. You’re not a beggar in the Kingdom. You’re a possessor. All the promises are yours, and in Christ, they are fulfilled. Glory to God! Prayer / Confession Dear Father, what joy to know that in Christ I’ve possessed all things; all blessings and divine favour are mine, and I enjoy them in real-time. I walk in divine health, prosperity, righteousness and victory. Nothing is missing or lacking in my life. I live in the fullness of God’s blessing, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. |

Phil.3.10-12 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. (NIV) |

2 Cor 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God |

Amen means SO LET IT BE, yet according to you, it is not pending and people don't have to wait Heb.6.15 And so after waiting patiently, Abraham received what was promised. (NIV) Isa.40.31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (NKJV) 2Pet.3.9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (NIV) Jas.5.7 - 8 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand. |

Every blessing you can ever imagine? 2Pet.1.3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, (NKJV) THINGS THAT PERTAIN THAT ARE NEEDED FOR YOU TO OBEY GOD AND LIVE A GODLY LIFE |

God's promises is already been fulfilled spiritually, is for you to believe then it will manifest physically. If the promise is precisely on you, even if you die, your child will inhwrit it (David & Solomon, Israelites & their decendance) |

"They pray and cry for what they should simply acknowledge and receive by faith." Yet James wrote in Jas.4.2 - 3 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. Even the context of the things mentioned in 1 Corin 3 and Romans 8 pertain to salvation Isa.62.6 O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray to the LORD day and night for the fulfillment of his promises. Take no rest, all you who pray. |

AntiChristian:What type of death was He referring to is what you should ask yourself. God told Adam that the day you surely eat it you shall surely die. When he ate it did he suddenly fall dead. |

I had to go and read the entire passages that were quoted to get a better understanding. Its talking about Christ being the substance of everything, not human leaders (1 Corinthians chapter 3), and it talks about Godly living and adding to Godly living (2 Peter chapter 1) "5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; 7 and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 8 For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." God help us to add to Godly living especially what we think in our minds, because sometimes evil thoughts come into our minds. We need to add to our faith 1) self control, 2) goodness 3) the knowledge of God and Jesus helps us, 4) perseverance 5) godliness 6) mutual affection These helps us to grow in faith and effectiveness of faith |

ogascomax:How many type of death dey? When Lazarus died was he in coma for Jesus to raise him up? Forget Genesis, God didn't say Adam will die. If he said that Adam would have died! There's nothing like spiritual death or physical death! Death is death! You Sabi reinterpretate your Bible o! Die is no more die again and it means something else! |

2 Corinthians 1, and going to Chapter two Paul was talking about why he changed his plans to visit the Corinthians, because Paul always assured them and always said yes in faith, but he changes his mind because he understood it will test their faith and help them grow, So in Christ we have full assurance despite any circumstance, by faith and by growing in faith. I don't fully understand the passages yet ![]() |

irrelevant:and Jesus also said in Mark.12.27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!" and recorded by Matthew in Matt.22.32 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living." (ALL) so is Abraham, Isaac and Jacob not dead? If they are to you, how come God is still their God, when He is not the God of the dead? |

SeriouslySense:the Holy Spirit aid your understanding and teach you more in Jesus name. What you have written in simple words is right Let me share with you from 2 Corinthians 1 2Cor.1.3 - 4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. The God of all comfort is not another God, He is the one true God, the only God who comforts us in our troubles. Now how can those who have all things be in trouble? Or maybe the comfort is giving all things to those who are in trouble so that they can comfort others in trouble by giving them things as well, the things we received from God. If that is so, then what are these things we receive from God that comforts us, are they money, stuffs, so that when we receive them we can also share them 2Cor.1.5 For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. So through Christ we suffer and through him we receive comfort Why should we suffer in the first place 2Cor.1.6 - 7 So when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your benefit and salvation! For when God comforts us, it is so that we, in turn, can be an encouragement to you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. We are confident that as you share in suffering, you will also share God's comfort. But still we have to ask, what is this comfort that comes from God through Christ Jesus. Verses 8-11 may mean the comfort is God deliverance, especially from deadly situations as He has delivered us from the great death. Deliverance because they helped in prayers Then Paul writing concerning the message they preached, which isn't double standard of yes and no 2Cor.1.18-19 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No." For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not "Yes" and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes." Therefore God's promises in the Gospel are yes and amen Because what God says he will do He will do But well Paul, who had planned to see them 2Cor.1.17 You may be asking why I changed my plan. Hadn't I made up my mind yet? Or am I like people of the world who say yes when they really mean no? (NLT) 2Cor.1.17 When I planned this, did I do it lightly? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say, "Yes, yes" and "No, no"? (NIV) But unlike God, Paul is human, things happen 2Cor.1.23 Now I call upon God as my witness that I am telling the truth. The reason I didn't return to Corinth was to spare you from a severe rebuke. |

Paul is a human, though he says yes and yes, because God assurance is yes, he could not make it, and the reason appears to be so, he will save them from severe rebuke. Thank you, its helps my understanding. gohf: |

AntiChristian:And you think He didn't? John 11 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ²⁵ Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: ²⁶ And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? |

Westerhoffe:Where is the explanation in all these? How does this explain physical and Spiritual death please? |
| Re: In Christ, The Promises Have Been Fulfilled by Westerhoffe(m): 2:56pm On Sep 15, 2025 |
AntiChristian:Physical death is when a person dies, putting off this robe of flesh. Spiritual death comes in two ways: 1. When someone is too far away from the light and life of God, that person is dead spiritually. 2. When someone dies, and has his/her soul damned to Hell, the person is dead spiritually. Jesus Christ said there, even if you die (physically) and you believe in Him, you are not dead (damned to Hell), because you will live. And if you are alive and believe in Him, you will never die (never damned to Hell). It is a one meaning word rephrased in two sentnces. Then He asked, "Do you AntiChristian believe this?" |
