That one is even little compared to stamp duty. If you make a transfer and the money was reversed, you will pay 50 for getting the reversal back if the money is above 10k |

Twoclans:The Only Way We Can Make The Authorities To Look Into This Issue Is To Create An Online Petition For Them. We Need To Roar Our Efforts And Intentionality To Ending This Broad Day Light Thefts Which Some Bank-Telecommunication Cabals Think They Can Subject A-lot Of IGNORANT AND POWERLESS Nigerians Into. Nairaland Is The Place To Start Anything Meaningful In Nigeria. Hence, We Should Take This Matter Seriously By Starting Up A Petition About It Online. We Will Raise The Volumes Ourselves Directly To The X Handles Of All The National Broadcasting Commission (NDC) And Relevant Bodies Of The Government Of Nigeria. With The Right Hashtags, It's That Easy To Start Breaking Their WINGS! |

DrFunmisticGlow:You dont understand the Analogy.... it means you will Pay Your Driver(= USSD Charge). Even though the Transaction failed at the ATM it is the fault of the Bank ONLY. you cannot Deny paying your Driver because you did not get Money at the ATM. That is the point. and it's Logical |

fineboynl:It should be per complete transaction and that's what they are mandated to do. But you know Nigerian business environment, everyone is just looking for who to fleece. Banks wouldn't remit to telecoms. Long battle. At the end of the day, telecoms are told to charge subscribers directly. And now, telecoms have seen another new opportunity to be fleecing Nigerians |

Honestly, living in Nigeria is hard. Imagine a teacher wanted to send 10k, eventually lost almost 30k with no hope of getting it back on time? Isn't that frustrating enough. |

bluefilm:A lot of people have bank apps and still use ussd. Reasons could vary from poor network or no data. The problem under discourse is ussd charge despite failure. Thank you |
