I hear you, but I will not be unfortunate sir, neither will my problems double, rather, I'd have a success story 😁. I'm sure some persons on here would have been running HP/rental successfully, despite the challenges for years. I know nothing good comes easy, however with God on my side and the necessary modalities in place, it will end in praise for me. Still, thank you for your suggestion.
You asked other things like as if you were willing to listen
He answered, yet you countered him that you're still bent on doing this business cos other people are doing it 😂

The truth is other folks here doing rental and hp, they didn't tell you they bought their car when cars were cheap.
You'd invest 3m on a car, then maybe extra 500k for papers and maybe one or two fixes. Then you give it out for 4.5 or 5m. How long will you have to wait to regain your 3.5m before you now start looking at profit?

I'd advice you start with one car and see. Only then will you know if you'd buy another one

Good afternoon everyone in the house. Please I'd like to purchase 2 cars for e-hailing. Budget is 3M per car. 2 pilots might also be needed when purchase is perfected. No car brand or model comes to mind at the moment. All suggestions, advise, admonitions are welcome.

Go for Mazda 3, Ford Focus, Mitsubishi Galant, Peugeot 206 or 306, Hyundai Elantra, Nissan Sentra. Etc
Make sure they are fairly Nigerian used. I.e not imported earlier than 2023.
Any 3m Toyota or Honda is a problem car.
Keep extra 300k per car for brush up and fixing of hidden things u didn't discover when buying the car.
Hire a God fearing, hard working and responsible person.
Your weekly rent should not be less than 60k. Keep one week money in every month for repairs and maintenance.

Your success in this business is dependent on quality of the car, personality of the driver and the income you generate. Don't compromise on any.

I am not sure any of the listed car imported earlier than 2023 will be sold for 3m unless previous owner wants to transfer walaha to new owner.I could be wrong sha because cars started getting expensive from 2023 and above.

Every other points are valid but the odds of getting the hard working, diligent driver who is willing to pay without fail and also getting perfect car for his budget are so low, so why risk the investment?

60k per week is criminal especially this ember period

Exactly I think I agree with this. As per the business is better suited for those who would buy and drive themselves. I'm really not into fleet management or driver partnership etc. As I think the ROI is poor compared to if u were driving it urself.

The ideal ROI for me to deal would be 150k grin grin per week which I know is very possible as one who has driven on d platform but which driver will pay u even 60k huh huh.

Best of luck buddy
What partners always tend to ignore is that giving out a car is passive income as u aren't the one driving it.
U invest 3-4m and get minimum 200k monthly. That's roughly 5% ROI monthly. In one year that's 60%. I haven't seen a passive income that will give u 60% yearly with as little as 3m capital investment. If u people know pls tell us o. They asked someone which alternative ? But the person hasn't said anything till now.

... if you can see nigeran used honda civic 2003-2007 in good shape you can start, but I will advise u to buy one car first and register to an e-hailing app drive by urself to see how the hustle be.. I give out my honda civic 2007 for rental 65k weekly for the past a year plus now, normally I dey get issues with my partner once once but it's all good, for me I personally partner with drivers that are married they tends to give me lesser issues..

Well looking at it like that you r right. It's good ROI just that its a business I will never get involved in like that, I mean driver partner etc. I will rather buy the car and drive myself. Infact I believe if I put 3m down n buy a car and drive for just 3 hours in d early morning and 2 hours in d evening, I should pay myself that same 200k monthly and more.

I believe the point to it is keeping principal amount as low as possible so ROI makes more sense. But all n all is very good business once it's treated as such. Regards mate
